Tom - 3850 out of a 22" barrel in a AR platform. H4895 powder.
Got a 204AI in a 26" barrel that will shoot a 40 berger at 4100. Never tried to run the 35's hard out of it. Kelly

Run a string tonight 90 degrees with TAC powder, 22" Kimber Montana, averaged 4008 fps. I thought my chrony was off, ran factory ammo at 3687 fps which is close to what it was Saturday morning at 73 degrees.
Started 2 grains lower Saturday and velocity wasn't there but accuracy looked promising. A grain more got me to 3820 fps, no pressure signs blah blah blah... Went one more grain and got the 4008 fps and thought WTH? Accuracy is there as well. Measured cases and they are all exactly the same as fired factory rounds. Primer pockets tight, just seems odd.
Gonna load some more and some a half a grain less and see where I wind up.

Oh H4895 maxed out at 3938 fps but it was on the warm side. Only ran two of those over the chrony, a half a grain made a big difference.
The 22-250ai is coming out nicely but this 204 has me spellbound.

got a couple hundred 38gr BTHP Unmussig's coming that are made from .22 cal jackets. Going to give them a try on some coyotes soon. Dave turned me on to them.
Will let you know how they work and send you a handful if you want. kj [ August 21, 2013, 06:04 AM: Message edited by: Kelly Jackson ]

I've got a 24" Shilen 1-10 twist on a M700. Off the top of my head I think I am getting 3950-4000 with the 35gr Bergers and H4895, [ August 22, 2013, 08:12 PM: Message edited by: DanS ]
