The whole subject is a sort of puzzlement. Why sell it, in the first place? Divorce settlement, gas money, what? Second, can't understand why he quit making them? They show a lot of meticulous craftsmanship, the execution is flawless, near as I can tell? At some point, selective people are going to want one. I don't believe I'd be tempted to sell mine. I appreciate the effort he put into it, and have told him, too.

Be that as it may; I will start the bidding at $2.25.

Good hunting. LB

I've got a real soft spot in my hear for Downs kids. In no small part because the doctors thought my Daughter was going to be one (they were wrong). Got to spend some time with a few of those kids, preparing for my Daughter.

Comparing Krusty to them is just plain mean spirited.

Yeah, that's what I was meaning all right.

These guys, now I could see the proceeds going to them as more appropriate.

Actually DAA, I've got a niece that is severely retarded, and have a group home for young adults who suffer from disorders like Downs, (although they all seem so happy in life that I doubt "suffer" is the right word in this case) on my mail route. I was personally concerned about this comparison simply because it represents a disservice to those who cannot help how they were born or act,... if you know what I mean. [Wink]

Yes it is true, you shouldn’t make fun or retarded people or those with Down Syndrome DAA. I apologies. In fact this whole retarded issue is just insensitive. My girlfriend and I have talked about what would happen or what we would do if we had a child that was retarded. We would keep it of course but we would much rather avoid having to make that decision in real life.

What ****** ******** throws retarded kids? Dose anyone have the home phone number of ******* ******? [Confused]

Good hunting.

Q,

You fat little SOB, you made me spew beer all over the living room.

I haven't laughed so hard in years!

I don't care if it was in bad taste, that was funnier than hell.

I wish Leonard wouldn't have given you those asterisks. Some folks need to go join up on Dave's link.

Waita minute, what would he know about your "shortcomings", anyway?
