My buddy with the funny Indian / Pakistani accent called again. Must be a half dozen times now they've called with the "Windows Central is receiving messages from your computer / press the icon key & the letter R"
Total phishing scam. I jerk these assholes around every time they call seeing how long I can keep them on the line. The conversation generally degrades to the point of him claiming he will have sex with my wife & sister and me pointing out that Sis tells me that he can't perform unless there's a young boy in the room. At which point he usually goes ballistic.
And they keep calling back every few months. ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)

I don't have a cell, I don't answer calls anymore on the landline if I don't know who it is.

I have had that call several times. They say they have detected something wrong with my computer and I need to press the "windows" key. That's when the fun begins because I tell him I can't locate the "windows" key. Even when he tells me exactly where it is, and is all excited because now he knows he has a real senior citizen blockhead on the line. This is why he so patiently tries to guide me to the location of the keys that will prove I need his help, at once.
They are so friggin' stupid that it never occurs to them that a MacbookPro doesn't have a "windows" key. Man! Do they get pissed off when they realize I have been jerking their chain instead of the other way around.
I thought we already talked about this before?

Yeah, we've discussed this before, but if I can give just one person a heads up about these clowns, my day is complete.
The number that comes up on caller ID is not valid when I try to call them back to tell them that the sister I don't have has a social disease and they should see a Dr. right away.
