Like powder! I've been looking everywhere? If you can believe it, there is no handloading powders available-anywhere!
I sorta ran out of H110 for loading 44Mag. I have 150 cases prepped and primed and sitting in blocks. I loaded 35 cases before I ran out and thinking, <shrug> okay, just buy more. BassProShops was a total waste of time, all they had was a couple pounds of black powder.
Looking on line, I have checked (I think?) ten mail order reloading component sources. (double negative caution) NOBODY HAD NOTHING! I searched for a couple hours, even Ebay but it appears that there is not any reloading propellants available, not nothing!
This is worse than so called "ammo shortages" there's no powder, double base, single, shotgun, rifle or especially handgun powders. Everything's gone! Forget about spherical, IMR, flake....nothing, because I am pretty sure there are a number of shotgun powders that work quite well in pistols and revolvers. I have most of a pound of Herco on the shelf but it's so dirty, I won't use it in pistols again; I think? I guess it depends on how desperate I get!
So, does anybody have any ideas, or is anybody willing to sell me a pound of H110? I have rifle powders I would be willing to trade straight across,
If you have a pound, let me know what rifle powder you could use, in exchange?
