Was just wandering around on EBay and noticed several pretty nice Circe Calls up for bid if there are any call collectors here.
There were also a few Gerry Blair books at very reasonable prices.
For some reason, I can't seem to find the item numbers. Probably right in front of me on the page, but I'm not seeing them. Maybe I need to sign in or something???

KOKO,
Yes, I think you will need to sign in. I liked the Circe calls up until the day they scrapped the original reeds and replaced them with stainless reeds. I liked the sound of those old steel reeds, even though they rusted pretty fast.

KOKO,
I don't know if this link will work without signing in at Ebay, but I believe it leads to a good photo of the calls I liked. Edited to disable the link. Dang thing left me open for others to access my Pay Pal account. [ June 07, 2012, 08:36 AM: Message edited by: Rich ]

Is $38 a good price in that Circe? I don't know about that?

Rich; The ones that I was refering to were older wooden ones. Not sure why that plastic one merits that price. It's a good call, just not one of the old time classics.

KOJO,
I am not a collector, so don't know the value of that green call. I saw that wooden Circe you mention. I think the bid was up to 61.00 when I looked. Somebody will grab it I'm sure.

KOJO????..............Hmmmm. That might make a good name for my next dog, if I ever get another one.
I'm not a collector in the sense that "I just need one more emblem variation and I'll have a complete set of XYZ calls". I do, however have a modest collection of old calls. Most of them were spotted on EBay at a good price by me & bid on by my daughter shortly before Father's Day, my birthday, etc. Makes the whole gift thing easy, and there's something kind of cool about calling with an old Circe or Weems call.
