It's been a very long time since I've logged in here... Thanks Leonard for the help, I'm sorry you had to go through the hassle to find my info.
I have pretty much always come here every now and then and just read...
I thought I'd jump in here after seeing the post about wrestling at the PM hunt.
Just the thought of that made me laugh way too hard! Sure wish I could get in the cage with the frog and Barry. I'd be willing to donate big bucks for that opportunity! Might even sell my Harley to finance that event.
I just spent quite a bit of time reading the old post, titled "Question" about the original meltdown at PM with JimC and have to think there is a certain irony in that and recent events.
I haven't posted here because I didn't feel I had the experience to speak. I'm just a recreational coyote hunter by most standards especially when compared to many of the names I see here, so I'm hoping you don't think I'm trying to blow smoke if I say something now.

I guess another "Welcome" is called for, Nikon? But, as far as participating or not because of lack of experience, or whatever you choose to call it, remember; we let TA post, so pretty much everybody is entitled to an opinion.
So, you would like to wrassle with RF, eh? He's built like a Sumo, so it could prove difficult to knock him off his feet? Which he (no doubt) cannot see?
Good hunting. LB

Nikonut,

Thanks Guys...
Leonard, if I got in a cage with the frog it wouldn't be about wrestling, more like "Ultimate Fight Night". I don't think I'd be first in line so it probably wouldn't matter anyway!

I personally think it's bull shit that you stuck around PM to "try and change things" and turned your back on those who were your friends Nikonut. It seems more likely, the only thing you wanted to change, was your status in the predator hunting community.
I think you did that, but perhaps not in the way you might have planned.
Just a personal opinion, based on our past.

It's been what - 8 years? Nikon and I go back a ways. One Christmas a few years ago, I sent him and his girls some calls - special ones - I thought back then we were friends?
Then I got the ban boot from the redfagot, and old Nikonut never once said boo to me after that. Not one word.
So, if he stuck around to change anything, it was his standing in the predator hunting community. It damn sure wasn't to stick up for or defend the people redfag was screwing over.
But he found out, the hard way, that redfag is one ruthless SOB. I'll bet you I would have never been baned if I had agreed to sell him my calls for less than a chinaman makes in an hour for his store. But I refused to become his whore, and sure enough, he took the first chance he got to get rid of me.
But again, like I said, I thought Nikon and I were friends. Once I was gone, we weren't buddies anymore.
Maybe where he lives that's how friends treat each other, but I grew up in Illinois, and that;s not the way I remember it. Times change I guess.
I think a lot of these former PM mods are trying to wash the stink off their hands - but some of it might not be external if you know what I mean.

WOW!
Al... I'm very sorry you feel that way. You are most certainly misguided in your thoughts about what has happened between the two of us. Your feelings couldn't be further from what happened!
You left PM way before I became a mod and then you went to FnF. I never joined over there and lost track of you but I have always spoken extremely well of you and given much of the credit for what callmakers today do as an example. You set the standard that many even now strive to attain.
I got pretty soured on all the fighting between the two groups back then, ask KeeKee or some of the others that know me. I have never really made calls to sell so trying to put myself in a better position doesn't really make much sense? I did finally take a mod position after Tony quit to hopefully change things and save what so many like yourself had worked so hard to create... I think I did help the call forums grow and I also got insight into the things most only hear in rumors or stories second hand. For that alone I would go through the misery all over again.
I also agree 100% in your analogy of the frog. He is truly a piece of worm dung in my opinion and needs to go so PM can survive and continue as Will wanted it too.
I believe I even posted on your new website how much I liked it... I have always been just a phone call away. I will take full blame for not having called you Al but you are wrong if you think I'm not your friend and that has never changed nor has my respect for you! Ask around to what callmaker's calls were proudly hanging and displayed at my booth during the KC Expo... ask JC he was there.
As for washing the stink off my hands I'll have to agree... PM has done that to a lot of people.

Even put my name in the word censor. I couldn't go there, and I just wasn't a good enough friend for you to come somewhere else?
I feel all warm and fuzzy now. I suppose everyone should just welcome all of you guys with open arms and forgive and forget in the spirit of the season.

The point though is simple. None of you did a freaking thing. You could have all got up and walked out. What kind of message would that have sent? But no, being a PM Moderator is Special. Makes you all "somebody", but it doesn't make everyone else Somebody's fool Tom.
You stayed because you were now "somebody". Now you want to continue to be "somebody" by letting everyone believe you fought the good fight and you have the "dirt" on what went on in the "backroom".
Everyone KNOWS what went on in the back room,

Merry Christmas to you too buddy.

So... you thought I was gone?
Hell, I've been hit harder by a female volleyball player on the beach. My computer is set to automatically do antivirus updates and restarted by itself. Had trouble logging back in again. I am slow but I figured that and lots of other things out on my own. I said, "Good Night" not goodbye!
Now as for booting THO or anyone else as far as that goes... why would I want that done to someone that I considered a friend regardless of how he feels about me now? THO has his own issues, he doesn't need me to jump on him.
When it comes to those that think I want to be "somebody", my question is why would I? I've done just fine being a nobody all these years and I'll continue on that course if it's alright with you fellas.
Q, I've never met you(yes,I know who you are)and you know your way around coyote hunting and these boards... seems you've had your share of being bashed and you're still here and so am I. You are correct about sitting back and acclimating... big difference.
As for Al's comments about me helping when he was banned, I wasn't even a mod then. I guess I could have walked away like all the others that did when Al got banned, but wait, did anyone else walk? Oh well. Besides that he didn't seem to want friends back then considering how many he alienated.
One good thing about Al, the more infamous he becomes the more my considerable collection of very early THO calls becomes!
By the way, I got an email from <donner2691@hotmail.com> explaining to me what a two-faced scumbag I am and I am really devastated! Seems once you've slurped frogdick it's hard to get rid of the smell!
Have fun guys... I'm not going anywhere.

Reread the thread, and then read it again.
Someone was complaining that another turned their back on "friends"
Then they said that they were in it for themselves and not for the good of anything else. Then the person stated that this is not the way "friends" acted toward each other.
Then an anonymous e-mail was sent calling Nikon " TWO FACED"
Just seems a tad bit fitting. But that's just how I read it.

Not compelling enough for a conviction. He may have had motive, but did he have opportunity and the means?
I got an email from another anonymous source, which seems to be all we have lately? It says his gf' sister-in-law's landlord traced the source to Canada via PM's server. So, whoever this songdogger is he was also sent an email
Also, too easy. Wouldn't RF have the balls to use his own name?

Mr. Leonard
Yup - I got banned from PM a long long time ago. I think I was one of the first after RedFag stole the forum from real coyote hunters.
Something about me calling him a fagot or something like that.
My apologies to all the honest hard working fagots out there, I did not intend to demean you by inferring that Redfag was one of you.
Oslo,
I didn't send any anonymous e mails. My big problem is I have a tendency to speak my mind and not hide behind the keyboard. I always use the same two names. TheHuntedOne or THOGameCalls.
I did send a few nasty grams to Clever Gary a while back. Just to poke him a bit, under a made up screen name from AOL, but easy enough to trace.
Other than that, I just post what I think and do it on my long time names. I suppose that is what made me Infamous on the internet, unlike guys who don't have the balls to say who they really are and go by crap like PMAdministration
Tom (the Nikonut one)
Don't leave Huntmasters - that would be bad for everyone. But just like I did, you burnt a lot of bridges when you took on the PM Moderator job and stayed even when the carnage was going on. I have a problem with that - others might not, and if Leonard tells me to shut up, I will of course, but what I wanted to say was said, and I'm not going to harp on it anymore. You know how I feel, you have my e mail, and if you want to explain anything to me, feel free. I'll listent, but my waders are in the garage so keep the BS to a minimum.
Mr. Leonard,
My apologies for making one of your guest feel unwelcome. I'll try and behave more in the future.
I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas, and a happy new year.
Posted by Leonard (Member # 2) on December 24, 2009, 08:51 AM:
I do not object to anyone expressing opinion, but if it gets offensive, just like happened here, you should expect questions and be prepared to explain yourself. This is a normal adult behavior, no tricks and secret email accounts by chickenshit assholes. I have no problem with clearing the air. We do not allow private messaging, so whatever you have to say, say it on the open board and it's far better to be moderately civil. As one fine (but ugly) gentleman found out, it only becomes a problem when you continually attack management. (& you know who you are,
) Other than that, you are free to squabble 'til the cows come home. Just don't pick on me and piss me off.
I love you guys, even both of my bad boys, Scott and Tom.

Sounds good Tom.
LBL is the Land Between the Lakes.
The lakes are Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake.
They are formed off of the Tennessee River.
It is located in the Southwest corner of Kentucky and the middle northwest of Tennessee.
It is a National Forest Area and holds a lot of wildlife, but the coyotes are hard to come by.
Smart little canines that see humans constantly all year long. They hear a truck stop and they vanish like a fart in a whirlwind.
Been doing this hunt since '02 or '03. Not sure which, but it is fun gathering.
BTW, Easterners are not all the same. Just ask a New York easterner and then ask an Alabama easterner.
They had a little spat awhile back and some still ain't got over it.
