Looks good! I'm not sure of the scope or the action? Is that the Titanium Remington? First spiral flutes I've seen? Standard '06 shoulder? Do you expect trimming to length to be any problem?
So, what's the bullet and load? Please say at least 75 grain!

Nice looking rig! .24-06 A.I. huh? An 85 grain Speer Boat tailed "hot core" spitzer would make a dandy coyote whacking machine out of that rifle. A stiff load of Reloder 19 would make that baby sing.

Which Reloder powder do you use in the .25-06 Improved? Reloder 21 ain't it?

R-22, Rich. It's about 150fps faster than W760 or H4831.
Sorry, I totally missed the AI part, Jeremy, there should be few neck trimming issues.

I use IMR 4831 out of my 25-06AI. I dont know if something else might be faster or not, but it does a good job.

Stiller Predator action
26 inch Krieger barrel spiral fluted (not cheap but sure looks cool I think)
Jewel trigger
Zeiss Conquest w/ Kenton knobs
shooting a 68gr berger w/ Ramshot Hunter at 4035fps
I barely had time to get a load developed before St. Francis so there may be more in it or changes to be made. Any suggestions would be great.

I even have a Zeiss Conquest, guess I didn't recognize it with all the camo?
There we go again with the 68 Berger! I know Cal likes it and Behle thinks it's great, too. But, I had a lot of cripples with that bullet, out of a 6mmRem. Of course, that was probably ten years ago, but I don't think I'd try it again. I hope it works for you? What kind of terminal performance?

Well yeah, but then there is the problem of dogpiling 19 frozen coyotes on top of each other in the back of a pick up. All I know is; skinning frozen coyotes sucks!

Thanks for the pictures Jeremy. What brand stock is that? Not familiar with a 24/06 caliber. Is it a .224 or .243 bore? I assume the mentioning of 68 Bergers, it's a .243? If those Bergers don't work out for you, Nosler 70 grain Ballistic Tips will.

I remember Tim Behle's statement in regard to those 68 grainers. Only way you wouldn't get a bang flop is iffen ya hit em in the tail. Just kidding. I would prefer a bullet of stronger construction myself, but I can't argue with success.

I can, (however) give a ringing endorsement for the 70 grain Nosler. It is a perfect contest bullet.

Kevin Weaver named it 24-06 imp it is the same as a 6-06 imp. That is McMillan's thumbhole stock. During the contest we had a coyote come in behind us and was fixing to go over a hill. When I finally got him to stop he was about 250 yards and his entire body was behind a bush. I thought it is now or never so I shot through the bush and he only went about 25 yards and died. Pretty much everything was bang flop. I had a couple that made a mess but otherwise I was pretty impressed with the bullet.
Leonard is right about piling 19 coyotes it makes them look a lot worse then they really are.
