Mule,
I think if you look at the Randy Anderson tubes on www.allpredatorcalls.com you will see that the constrictions for their tubes will vary according to barrel I.D. of individual shotguns. That is proper way to advertise the tubes. When I bought my Carlson "dead coyote" tube for the Browning Invector, it was .660. I bought one and learned that it didn't pattern worth a hoot when shooting either BB or Hevi-shot T's. My best patterns have come with tubes from Kicks Industries and Comp-N-choke. Look at this 50 yard pattern.

Rich is that with dead coyote T? If so you are at 50% pattern at 50 yards, I can get that with the carlson dead coyote tube from my rem 11-87.
I want to try some of the goose B and see how that does for coyotes, if I can get it to pattern as well as the T then I will switch as you can get 10.00 per box rebates on the goose loads and some more pellets, as the dead coyote they never give rebates!!!!!!!!!!!

coyote whacker,
The above pattern was with Hevi-shot T,s..Remington's Hig Density BB fodder pattern a bit denser than you see in the photo. The Winchester "Extended range Predator" fodder is B shot, which I have not tried. Winchester puts a lighter shot charge in their fodder, which I see as a mistake on their part. Having said that, I still believe that the Winchester fodder should make a dandy coyote whacking choice. Please let us know your own results if you get around to patterning the Winchester fodder. I'm glad that you are having good luck with your Carlson tube, I just didn't see it with mine. I still have that Carlson "dead coyote" tube for a 12 gauge Browning invector. I would sell it real cheap. I have thought about using it for making an Iowa disposable earth anchor. It should hold Iowa coyotes alright.

Rich I will let you know, but I'm looking at the Hevi shot brand of B sized shot because they give the rebates on these, I have yet to see that new winchester but I hear it is pricey? Even more so than dead coyote? I have a place I can get dead coyote for 26.00 per box and the same for the hevi shot brand goose B, right now they have the 10.00 rebate per box taking it down to 16.00 per ten rounds! 1.60 alot better than 2.60-3.10 per!!!!!

Rich,
I am shooting the DC choke in a browning invector gun. I got pretty decent patterns with the Dead Coyote load but not so good with BB or #4 buck. Have you shot #4 from that kicks choke? What kicks choke is that?

I'm certainly no shotgun choke expert, but I do not think the tighter chokes are always the answer, especially with #4Buck.

Good hunting. LB
