If you ever try a Horus Vision you will put those Kenton's back in the toy box.

I have Burris Black Diamonds, Night Force NSX's, sold all the Leupolds. Have three Horus Visions and in my 63 years nothing can even come close.

In the game I play you have one shot under the poorest light conditions with just seconds to break the shot. When you spend three grand on a gun that will put a hog on his but at 1K. You better have you're eyeball glued to the best. available.

I've heard of them Varmit hunter also saw some adds in a Magazine. I think they would work well also for certain types of shooting. What i did'nt like about them is there is too much on the lens.. A friend uses the TK Lee dot system in his scope and it works well for him. The down side is if he puts scope on different rifle he has to have all the dots replaced.
With the Kenton dial i can put the scope on any rifle and still use it. The scope uses the orignal reticle its just the dial that is different.
The Kenton dial keeps everything simple and dose'nt clutter up the lens, the bullet drop info is there you just have to turn the dial, so simple even a caveman can do it...
Anyway the Horus vision is also a good product it just does'nt fit into my shooting style.. T/A

Jr, I am running the 2 minute. I like it because it has the wide wire at 20 minutes. My come ups for 1K is 23 minutes. I just go to the wide wire and come up three minutes.

TA. We all have to go with what works for us. The Horus can be put on any rifle. I like them because of the light gathering ability, and how fast I can acquire a target up to 2000 yards. It only takes seconds to go from 300 to 750 yards. Plus the wind is also calculated. What is a blast is to put one on a 22 rimfire and work over a 12" steal plate at 500 yards no matter what the wind is doing.

I clicked on the link, and yes they have alot more info there compared to magizine i saw it in. Plus a larger selection of reticles.
Varmithunter; I read all the info they gave and it sounds like a pretty good deal. How is the drop and wind calculated? Do i have to carry some type of card calculater? I tried there demo's and its really got me interested. How is the scope and reticle zeroed for the cartridge i wish to use? I noticed in demo if you miss a shot and can see where bullet strikes on ground you can make a pretty quick correction and get back on target.. The only down side i see so far is haveing to calculate the distance and the price of a scope..
If you can answer my questions and i like what i read i think i know where my free Government money is going to go... Thanks... Tim A.

I think the scope is adjusted the same as any scope and once sited in you use the reticle for any further compensation. You can stil use the click adjustment knobs at amy time if you so chose.

The PDA I thought comes with some of the scopes offered, but the one I looked at comes with a Range cards and 1st hit softwhare for PCs and lap tops, but I rather have the PDA handy.....

So tell me about this free Guvment money I want some...

Will try my best to answer all questions.

Reticule
I started with them win they first started making scopes. I have tree different reticules that are no longer being made. One goes to 3500 yards.

Calculating
The scope will come with a program for you're computer so you can make up range cards. I also have the PDA. All you need to do is put in you're caliber, BC, and MV. You also add all the elevation and humidity crap. For me that all stays the same. When you're target appears you put in the range and wind. In one second you are told what line to use and how far to hold off on the calibrated horizontal lines.

Best news
A company called 5.11 has come out with a watch that does everything the PDA will do for about $200.00. I have had one for two years. I forgot to mention that the pda and watch will handle 1/8", 1/4" 1/2" and 1" clicks plus the mill dot program used by Horus.

I spent many years being a bow hunter. Now that I haven't had much use of my legs for the last 11 years I have gone to long range Hog hunting. Yes it is expensive, But I don't fish are drive all over the country trying to kill everything that is legal anymore. For ten years I had license for four different states.
My expenses have been cut down immensely. I am just like every one else I have to save for the things I wont. My last rifle and scope involved me selling several of my toys, and still saving for two years. That is why I am a fanatic on scopes. This is not match or prairie dog shooting. This is the third smartest animal on earth. He also is usually black and presents a shot in the darkest of conditions. I have made a called shot at 225 yards 45 minutes after legal sunset with no artificial light with a Horus.

Every scope that has been mentioned are great scopes. Only a hand full of hunters do what I do. To be successful we have to come up with the best possible equipment for these specific conditions. The normal big game or varmint hunter has no need for the equipment I use. I have had to do a lot of buying and selling to come up with what I have.
