A Leupold 3.5X10X40 VariXIII would be a good choice.

Good hunting. LB

There is a LEUPOLD VX-II 3-9 X 40 MM DUPLEX on eBay right now that would make a real nice calling scope.

young hunter if your on a fixed budget or even if not I would look at the Burris Full Field scopes, great warranty, good optics and affordable price to boot.

I have one on a 25-06 and have put 40 rounds through it so far and I like it alot, very impressed with this scope, you can get one in 3x9 for less than 300.00 for sure and the 4.5x14 AO for around mid 300's or less.

I have the 4.5x14 AO.

I also have a leupold x II 3.5x10 on a 22-250 and it is a nice scope as well.

I love my Lupe's and also like my Nikon Monarchs. Nikon has revised their Monarchs and are definitely interesting.
