Thye new E tip bullets are being made as we speak first bullet will be a 30 cal. This is in compition with Barnes bullets. These NO Lead bullets are a copper alloy and not all copper, meaning less fouling, hard hitting, High BC rating and 95%+ weight retention.

Good for them, but I'm not particularly impressed. Why is lead obsolete, I wonder?

It is caving in to the whackos screaming about lead bullets poisoning the environment.

One day, homes and vehicles may be searched, (without a Warrant, of course) and Heaven help the poor dope found to have poisonous bullets in his possession! A small display of cased antique artifacts is no excuse for flaunting the laws that protect our citizens.

People, in general are incredibly stupid.

There, rant over. LB

I looked at their site. They sure don't tell you much about them.

Makes me wonder if they have actually tested them. And just how high, is a "High BC" on a flat based bullet?

Tim I don't know where you got a flat base? They show it and advertise it with a boat tail.Basicly a bal tip non lead version, a bit longer.

Leonard, I don't think you'll see the Bal tip or partition going anywhere in the future. The bal tip I dare say is the best selling bullet in reloading. Sadly some states Like CA are looking at outlawing lead.I don't think in the near future this will be US wide and if metals keep going up then so will the prices. Lead is still cheaper than the others by far that one can make a bullet from.

I think they are just looking at regaining some market share that the Barnes company has taken away from them. I see having more options as a good thing, but I won't be leaving the bal tip bullets anytime soon. They keep adding to this line as well.

I'll be danged. They do call it a boat tail.

I was just looking at the picture of the cut away, and the boat tail is so small I didn't really consider it. Looked like a flat base bullet to me.

It would be nice if they gave out a little more information about it.
