Hi Lance. It used to be quite common, in Germany, that the Armor units would take pot shots at wild boar while at the range, that happened to wander through. I don't know about edible meat recovered?
I was at a Gun Expo, this past spring where they had a lot of booths, shoot various firearms, etc. All the major Mfr. were there.
They also had a Gatling gun, a Browning 50 on a standard tripod, and a mountain cannon, seems like it might have been a ten pounder, though? Anyway, you could shoot any of the three for $25. In the case of the Browning, I believe they gave you five(?) shots for the money? How many shots with the Gatling gun, I don't recall, but it was a bunch.
I declined.

That gun would give new meaning to a double or triple.
I just review some excellent 20mm gun camera film doing in four Taliban foot soldiers. Not soldiers, idiots, they think they can out run 4000 fps.
