I just reviewed 21 pages, handguns at Midway with my birthday pricing. Damned near, and virtually, either way you cut it, everything was either coming soon or not available, no backorders!
Speaking of which, I was gluing something yesterday and used the first thing heavy I could find to weigh it down and that was a 25 pound bag of #9 shot. Just for curiosity, I tried looking up shot at 8 or 9 different mail order companies. Only two listed shot, at all except for Hornady buckshot.
Wow! I'm sure I didn't pay more than ten bucks but of the two sites that displayed shot, one was $65 for 25 pounds and the other wanted $82....but both were out of stock. I have more bags of shot in 38 caliber, (I think?) that I use for filling weight pouches when diving. I better post a guard, or it might walk away like the 2, 5 gallon buckets of range brass that I "used" to have but they disappeared, somehow? I suspect a young relative with a drug problem? And my fucking range finder is missing, so is a good pair of Binos, both of which were in the side pocket of my Dodge truck. There was a nice ring that I can't find any more, as well Oh, well?
Where was I?
Yeah, I have 12 days to buy something from Midway to get birthday pricing. I don't need anything but why pass up such a good del, right?

While I realize that zerobody gives a shit about the scandalous way the state of Commifornia treats it's citizens, I have been trying very hard to crack the system and buy a handgun online at Midway.
With God as my witness, I have tried to buy damned near anything, as long as it has a red dot or is compatible. I also have to deal with the fucking 10 round capacity restrictions. Once I double check everything I can think of, the last roadblock is: this hasn't been approved for sale in CA.
They have been pulling this shit for a very long time. I can only speculate that the "committee" that reviews and tests new guns for approval meets only on Leap years and not until the cows come home? It's a total mystery as to how they get around to approving new guns on the market. Near as I can tell, they have not approved a NEW HANDGUN since the first Bush was in office. I think it has to do with "micro stamping" firing pins? The gun manufacturers say it cannot be done and Commifornia says; that's ok, we will wait until you get around to it.
It's a goddamned farce! We have about 40 million residents plus 20 million illegal aliens and nobody cares to raise a stink about this FAKE firearms review board! I read about new products every month in the gun rags. Every friggin' month they review brand new guns lacking "micro stamping technology" and all of us Drones accept the lies and Bureaucratic BULLSHIT without complaint. Oh, well, they are doing the best they can!
Man! This is starting to piss me off!

Yeah, the best that they can ......... and we didn't say it was very good. Just the best they can do.
"Shall Not Be Infringed" Seems pretty simple to me and I live on a dirt road.

Yeah, well, there are laws that I fudge on like the speed limit, occasionally. Rarely do I leave home without a concealed means of protection, but that's just between us....okay?
