we were shooting the other night at 1000 yds playing with a new wind meter and after we got done my seven year old asked if he could take a shot with my 22-243, well that's his with the b wrote above it, 1 or 2 high and 12 or so right, dad was pretty proud

I can't even imagine shooting that far and a seven year old damn near nails it.
A kid shoots better than I do.

don't worry he shoots better then me too, he does real good off hand, he shoots 3 or 4 boxes of 22 a week off hand, and has gotten real good

thanks fred. I got a laugh out of something he said the other day, he asked me if you sounded like the sweathogs on "welcome back kotter", man it made me laugh, your the only person he knows of that lives up there, ha. but he still wants to go shark fishing with you ever since you sent him the pics

I watched the shark tournaments in NY last night on cable and they all talk that way, kept thinking of Fred.

Ryan, you get your guys butts up here in later June--->July, and I will get Bridger out shark fishin'!!!
Funny thing about that "Shark Hunters" show, is I can't even bear to watch it. The big dude, Capt. Pete B of "FISH ON" used to fish with us, about 10-12yrs ago. We won some tournament $$$ together, fished the Canyons together & generally had a good time!
Fast forward to today. Now he's a "pro", LOL, makin' a dang fool of himself on TV, for all the world to see. Don't get me wrong, he KNOWS how to catch fish, but this whole TV nonsense is ridiculous. I feel badly for him, about that...
Oh well, careful what ya wish for! Ya just might get it!!! Pete craved the notoriety of being a contender on the tournament trail, and its come full circle to where he's become the laughing stock of Montauk.
Matter of fact, Pete was just arrested after an altercation that ensued from failing a polygraph test at a tournament in Montauk, last weekend.
Sad shit, fishing is posta be fun! And that's why we hardly fish tournaments anymore, it begins to suck the joy outta what doing what we love...
