Well, I see that Trump has thrown his hair-do into the ring.
Actually, I like what I've heard, so far.
Where's the boy stand on mechanical devices that make loud noises ???

Saw his interview with O'Reilly last night. Don't think he stands a snowball's chance in hell to get the nomination, but think how entertaining the debates would be between him and Hildebeast!

Don't know his stance on guns, but what he said about Mexico and China has already ruffled some feathers. Saw on Fox and Friends this morning, that the Foreign Minister from China was already responding to his remarks on that country.

Ok...........Did some `Google Time` on "Trump Gun Control".
Claims he's against gun control.
Kind of gray on `assault weapons`.

One thing about Trump; unlike most politicians who talk much & say little, Trump will come right out and speak his mind.
Kind of refreshing.
I wouldn't totally count him out.

And a debate between Trump and Satan in a Pantsuit ?? I'd have to wring the man milk out of my shorts before that was over.

I will reiterate what I have been saying all along. Anybody but Hillary or any Democrat. And, hell yes, that includes Donald Trump. The Media always portrays a guy like him as a friggin' idiot, but they say that about any Republican and I agree with what Reagan said; do not speak poorly about fellow Republicans. Put on the blinders and remember, if the candidate is for my guns, everything else is usually in total alignment.

They act like he is an idiot but I have watched his show and his various interviews and I cannot say he talks like an idiot? He seems to be practical, dogmatic and very reasonable, if you ask me? I don't think anybody with that much money is a total idiot, but the Liberal Media tells us that he is just that: an idiot.

I watched his son kill Cape Buffalo in Africa. It looked to me that the apple didn't fall too far from the tree?

Trump has donated substantial amounts of money to the Democrats and Hillary in particular.

Remember a guy named Ross Perot? Came in and talked conservative for a while meanwhile splitting the Republican vote and allowing Bill to defeat GHW Bush running for his second term. When it was all over we found that Perot had been in daily contact with the Clinton campaign and that his sole purpose was to keep Bush from winning.

When Hillary ran against Obama she was thought to be a shoo in and the Democrats were asked if they'd run a spoiler meaning a third party challenger. They said they definitely would but then Obama got the nomination. Even though Trump is saying the right things I keep thinking about Perot. He said the right things, too.

Scott Walker , unless someone better comes along. I looked at Kasich for about 30 seconds until I remembered his love for the fucking clintuns & the fact he voted for the "insult" weapon ban in 94.

I felt like my pants were down around my ankles right after I posted above, then I heard Trump say he would run with Ophra as Vice President! I'm thinking, there must be a better choice?

Kasich sounds like a regular guy, that's all I know? Agree Walker would be a solid choice.

I'd like to see a Walker/Cruz ticket. Jeb! is confusing...governed as a conservative, but his current stance on immigration, Common Core and some other issues has me thinking he would would move quite a bit to the center to appeal to the left.

Carly Fiorina is an interesting person, and I believe will do very well in debates. She sure has bitch slapped Hillary around...she handles the commentators pretty well, too.

The problem with this whole process is that it comes down to money...if you have it you can outlast the other dumb bastards clamoring for the same spot.

We need to get someone that will totally destroy the establishment. I used to think Karl Rove was a good guy until he started to destroy some really good people that went against the grain of the 'inside establishment' folks.

Reminds me of the old saying, 'if you keep doing what you have always done, your going to get what you have always got'...I think someone with fresh ideas would be great.

The conservatives need to stop pandering to the left and the independent voters, go back to Reagan principles, and kick the frickin' Liberals in the nuts.

I thought this would happen after the '14 mid-terms, but the Republicans did nothing to capitalize on the victory and wimped out...I guess I can always dream!

Funny, I used to think that Rove was a good guy, too. Until I found out that he fought against Reagan ever becoming president.

Of course, I used to think that the Republicans had my best interests at heart.

But Moe. You KNOW, beyond doubt that the Democrats are not on your side. And, a Libertarian vote is throwing your vote away.

Therefore, being a practical man, concerned about my gun rights and worried about the welfare state promoted by unions and Democrats....the only choice is a vote for any Republican thats running. I am not enthralled by the position we are in but we need to hang in there with the only friends we have. I know, sometimes you have to wonder what kind of friend we support, but back to the first paragraph, there is no doubt that the Democrats favor blacks, government unions, welfare, higher taxes, and a passion for gun control.

It's a no brainer.

I probably made it sound like maybe I'd vote for a Democrat. Never would I ever do that. Only once in my life did I vote for a Democrat. I lived in Juneau and both Fairbanks and Anchorage wanted the capital moved to their city. The only Republican candidate was in favor of moving the capital so I voted against him. I've been kicking myself ever since.

My wife and I have voted a straight Republican ticket for a lot of years. Before we were married I only voted for the one Democrat I just mentioned. Oh, I've had to hold my nose a few times and have been disappointed more times than I can say but I can't bring myself to vote for a Democrat.

I don't know what the solution is but the Republican leadership seems to side with the Democrats in pretty much everything. Both Boehnor and McConnell could've stopped the implementation of Obamacare but they didn't and fought the people who tried. Now they're trying to give Obama control of 90% of the world's economy and while not allowing us to know what's in the bill. Why??

I should have given you more credit, Moe. Yes, it did seem like you might be looking for an excuse to vote for a Democrat; I apologize.

However, there are still those two lifelong friends that admitted voting for Obama the first time. Because they believed all the bullshit the Media was promoting about George Bush and apparently, it was a protest vote. Although it doesn't make any sense, (the guy just had his eight years), what good would it do to vote for a Democrat, just for spite?

In the history of the United States, and for as long as the Republic lasts, the worst mistake voters ever made, was electing DICKWEED ! What a relief, going forward and knowing we will never make a worse mistake. But, Whoa! Now we gonna elect Hildabeast? That's pushing it!

Besides that. Just like how the Media portrays Nixon as the Devil, incarnate. I happen to think he was a decent man who went and attempted to protect his overzealous operatives, and in doing so, made a big mistake. But that hardly erases his entire public service, in my opinion. Obama, in the same situation would not resign, the lying bastard would do like he has been doing for six and a half years, ignore all and issue Executive Orders. He has no shame. And, he appears unstoppable? Who wants to be accused of being a RACIST?

LB,
I agree with you on Nixon...keep in mind Nixon resigned just for TALKING about doing the things Dickweed has ACTUALLY done...i.e. using the IRS against enemies...

Nixon kept his promise and ended the war in Vietnam in his first term. He won reelection in a landslide. The Democrats hated Nixon because of his role in the McCarthy hearings and was known to be a Communist hater. When he ended the war they had to destroy him. Unfortunately his "plumbers" gave them the opportunity. Nixon was guilty of the coverup and nothing else.

I remember the Democrats calling the Vietnam War Nixon's war. The war was fully the Democrats' war. Truman got us into the treaty that drew us into the war, Kennedy sent in the special forces as advisers and Johnson escalated the war with regular troops. Nixon got us out and he's the one the left still blames

I also think Nixon was a good president and when I hear Republicans who weren't even alive then trashing him it pisses me off.

Moe I agree with you about Nixon. Overall he was a good president despite enacting wage price controls and the 55 mph speed limit. I too have heard democrats blaming Nixon for Vietnam when it was really Johnson's war.

Hell, if the press took on half the scandals willy and hildebeast did in the nineties, she wouldn't be a candidate today, and Nixon would look like a saint. Johnson was the worst and most corrupt President in my lifetime. He killed 50,000 of our finest and destroyed the black family with his "Great New Society" while plundering our Social Security to pay for it all. I also believe he had a hand in killing Kennedy.

Nixon's mistake was when the Watergate broke he tried to stonewall it and the press smelled blood in the water.
Had he come out with a "Mistakes were made, forthcoming investigation, I take full responsibility, yadda, yadda, yadda." speech the whole thing likely would have blown over in a couple of weeks.

So now we have about 15 or 17 people running on the G.O.P. including my auto mechanic and the cart pusher at Wally World.
I'm hearing a lot of "I'm going to........"
Not so much "This is HOW I'm going to......."
