Has anybody noticed the complete lack of truth and accuracy in the debate over 3D printed guns?
First of all, they say there is a law that says that you cannot have, or make an undetectable firearm. But there apparently is no law against making a gun in your basement?
A 3D printer that could make a gun, (they say) it costs over $100,000, and the "weapon" couldn't be fired more that a couple times.
They also say that at the very least, a plastic gun needs a metal firing pin, and will, (of course) shoot metallic cartridges, which are detectable.
Why are reporters and politicians and judges freaking out over this issue? And why is this guy pursuing it? Does anybody know what they are talking about?
Can anybody explain?

My guess is the same strategy as they use for all firearms. LIE, LIE, LIE. Facts and logic just get in the way to them.
When Concealed carry was up for vote in MO, they claimed this would be Dodge city, machine guns everywhere and the street would be rivers of blood. When has the left ever told the truth?

Simple Liberal Logic 101.
A 3D gun is dangerous.
Therefore;
A manufactured metal gun must be very dangerous.
Meaning;
An 'assault weapon' is extremely dangerous.
So....although they would like to ban all guns, they are willing to compromise and just ban assault weapons. For now.

ko ko, the word COMPROMISE is a trap. In every compromise with anti-gun people, we lose, and they win something. None of their "common sense" solutions are worth talking about. Name one single time that we got any concession whatsoever, from the gun grabbers. There is no sense in talking to them: JUST SAY NO!

No doubt.
Compromise just means that we lose slower.
Actually, two wins come to mind. Concealed carry in the saner parts of the country and suppressors if you jump thru enough hoops.

yea, it boils down to an enemy of the United States (the liberal media) will use ANY issue to ban guns.
I called my local radio station when they were having a discussion on this topic and told them that if you have a 3D printer you also likely have 3D CAD software like Autodesk. That allows you to create your own 3D drawing from which you can print a gun. Sp banning the DWGs does little to stop someone who is determined.
Look, if you have a 3D printer you likely have the brains to design your own gun so the only way to stop this is to register 3D printers like you register a gun. How well do you think that will go over?
Bottom line is the media is using it as just another gun control issue.

The point is; even if you spend the money, and break the law, you still wind up with an AR15 that won't function past the first round, AND REQUIRES A MINIMUM AMOUNT OF DETECTABLE METAL TO FUNCTION, LIKE THE FIRING PIN AND CARTRIDGES.

So, why do Liberals wet their pants over publishing an article? Look at the big picture. The Pakistani's have already published articles on how to build a nuclear bomb. Let's rage on that for a while.

Now all you need is a $5,000 to $600,000 3D printer, the specialized resin the gun needs to keep from blowing up in your face, and you too can have a "ghost" gun.
BTW, it is legal to make a gun in your home without a serial number. People do it all the time with "80%" receivers.

Look folks, can we admit that this 3D gun BS is almost totally completely fabricated by IDIOTS, (Liberals) that don't know a damned thing about firearms, and don't want to know-they're scary! And, why isn't everybody else freaking out about this nonissue?
Two things, first EVERYBODY should be forced to buy a hunting license, the purpose of which is to support wildlife in your state, other than just enjoying wildlife, for free, but supported by hunters, so bird watchers get a free ride and then have the nerve to demand that wildlife refuge's outlaw hunting.
Second, even if you don't want to buy a gun, you should pay a considerable fee to attend mandatory classes that will teach you about a million useful things about firearm ownership. One benefit would be that it just might turn an anti into a gun owner. I submit that ignorance is the chief obstacle and if that isn't a definition of a Liberal, I don't know what is?
