Interesting video, HERE Rifle is an AI-AT, which is designed for easy barrel changes by the end user. Pretty cool concept, all ya need is an Allen key to back the set screw out, and unscrew the barrel. Neat-O!
Chamber is a 7x47L (6.5x47L necked up to .284) Barrel starts out @ 32" and is chopped down in 2" increments. Kicker is, the barrel is chopped by hand via hacksaw, and the muzzle is chamfered with a case neck chamfer tool!
Pretty interesting to see how MV is affected by barrel length. Also noteworthy to mention that accuracy remained quite good, despite the manual hacking & chamfering of the barrel... [ May 08, 2015, 04:14 AM: Message edited by: knockemdown ]

Interesting. We have always heard that you lose (what) 30fps per inch.
I'm wondering. I have the Oehler 35P, hell it's like 15 years old, but they are also using the Magnetospeed, as a backup?
I wonder if they both agreed?
Hate to see all those scraps lined up on the bench!
