Just found out this morning that a couple I've known for quite a few years lost their son in a workplace accident in California. He was a journeyman for a big power company out there and was killed when the scaffolding they were using to work on a big power line tower collapsed and took him down over 80 feet. The guy that was with him is in the hospital out there pretty banged up. Curious if there was any more information in the regional news out there. His name was Logan Ruhnke, 33 year old young man that had a rough start to adulting but got himself squared away, met a great woman, married and a two year old son. Was making a danged good living and doing pretty well for his family. Had only spoke with him a couple times before he moved west. The company flew his dad out there from here in their private jet. All around bad deal. reminds me of several years ago when a good friend of mine corkscrewed into the ground in a little Cessna across the river from Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Cronk had seen it on the local news.

Haven't seen a thing about it but I don't watch that much local news.

My uncle worked for Northern States Power, in Minnesota. Lineman, was injured on the job, broke his neck and spent the rest of his life in the VA hospital in Long Beach. He was a Korean War veteran. I don't think he was even 25 when he had that accident so he would never walk again?

He had photos of well known celebrities crawling in bed with him buck naked. You know, they pulled the curtain, dropped their clothes, got in bed and called the photographer. These were mostly black and white. I guess they did it as a feel good gesture for the poor guys that were missing arms and legs and in his case, a paraplegic who could never walk again, much less crawl in bad naked with a babe. The only one I can remember right now was Barbara Feldman, Agent 99 of Get Smart. Seems like Ann Margaret was another, but I think they felt compassion for Veterans in a shitty lifelong situation. I give those girls credit for good deeds, these weren't slutty starlets but respected actors that weren't known for sleeping around. I wonder what happened to those photos? I have his Veteran triangular folded flag upstairs in my den, and my father's, as well.

But, I bet they are still doing these things for the troops?

Good hunting. El Bee

edit: PS you know, I met Rich Cronk for lunch while in Omaha attending my buddy, James Peterson's funeral. We talked about all the Coyote Board celebrities, like Lance and Victor and Bruce Kennedy.

Yeah, she read your custom title and decided she had better things to do.

I had the privilege of knowing a Angie Dickinson look a like, only better! Betty Ann could get up off the couch and win her age group marathon, literally ran like a deer. Unfortunately, she went back to her husband, who didn't even care that she was living with me! Just try to figure that one out? He still doesn't deserve her, and I'm still pinning for her! I would tell her, you look like Angie Dickinson and she would just say; No way! She lives in Glendale and that dumb shit husband of her's lives in Cincinnati. Don't even TRY to figure that one out! Babe, if you're listening, I'll take you back in a heartbeat! OMG! what a piece of ass!

Good hunting. El Bee

PS I call her every time I'm passing through town! Wouldn't you?
