Are you (or anybody else) taking fur to Willcox this Sunday ????

Hey Richard sorry i barely saw this, no sir I did not go to the fur sale in Wilcox. I didn’t hunt as much as I usually do and when I did it was mostly contest hunting and the pelts were trashed from our contest guns plus they sat in the back of the truck for two days and went to shit. Did you end up going? We still need to get together for a few stands before it gets to hot.

Yeah, I went over & met some friends for lunch.
It wasn't really a 'fur sale'. George & Cindy are agents for NAFA. They pick up the fur & it's shipped to Canada for the auction. Never have sold fur this way, so I thought, 'what the heck......'
Saw a couple of people I know, chatted a bit and should get my check sometime in May.

Yes, we must get together. I've been going crazy busy getting everything lined up for this (well deserved) semi-retirement. Bear with me & I'll invite you & the family over. We can watch coyote videos & the women can compare notes on kids. My wife loves 'em.

Welcome to The New HuntmastersBBS.com Ariel. Glad to have you on board.

Here we have a member I wasn't actually aware of and yet ko ko addresses him in a post, and he, (Ariel) hasn't even made an initial post yet? People talk, but it's still interesting if you stop to think about it for a minute.

Also, what is this new well deserved "semi retirement"? No more forklift in the middle of the night?

I can tell you one thing that has been interfering with my desire to venture down your way. It's been a series of tests, one after the other. Nothing is a big deal, just due precaution and the next and possibly the last procedure is scheduled for the 15 of next month, then I think I'm out of the woods for a while anyway? So maybe then, after a little period of recovery, if I can find someone to drive me home?

Anyway,
Good hunting. El Bee

El Bee;
We keep telling you that Arizona is where it's happening !!!
I met Ariel on the same road that I ran into Dan & his brother from Missouri. Pretty sure that Paul has left some tire tracks there, too. There's no coyotes left, but it's a nice place to visit.

Yes, semi-retirement.
[Cool] I'm not one to burn bridges before or after I cross them so I'll be cutting my hours down to two or three nights a week. Make a few bucks pocket coin for toys and still have more time off.

Thank you Leonard, I have been lingering on this forum for about two years now and really enjoy the stories, experiences and opinions that everybody has. I have no where near the experience as most of the members in the forum hence the reason I don’t post anything or voice my opinion because more then likely I’m wrong. I know a few members personally like Richard, Brent Parker and KJ. Brent has been a good guy to me and given me advice when I ask, I was even able to get a dog from him a few years ago. All in all I really enjoy the forum and I’ll eventually get my feet wet and engage in the conversations but for now I really enjoy reading and learning from everybody. I mostly shotgun hunt in the fall/winter and run a few dogs in the spring and summer, I’m from nm originally but I have been in az for the past 6 years and finding it hard to leave. Anyhow thanks for the add Leonard and I’ll see you soon Richard.
