These people are criminally insane! Liberals are so gdamned ignorant they aught to be arrested for their own good.

Hey how's that high speed rail project coming along? I can't wait until I'm able to get from Bakersfield to Fresno in the bullet train. That fucking Brown needs a net dropped over him, he's an idiot!

Those big RTD buses worked so well, why not a train ???

Bullet train...math works out to at least 100 bucks a ticket.....just to pay back the money that was borrowed in the first place, so no telling what it will really be in the end.

So if you are Mr. or Mrs. commuter who lives in Fresno cause housing is cheaper than in San Jose where you work, and you think you are going to get off cheap...think again.

It will be subsidized for low income people, of course, like Amtrak is now.
So same old shit.

But. It makes absolutely NO sense! I have rode AMTRACK from Claremont to Oakland. The first think you do is get on a damned bus all the way to Bakersfield, up and over the Grapevine. Then, a "scenic" ride up the back side of 99, all the slums. And we were almost derailed! Some asshole put a wheel and tire on the tracks and I guess the driver didn't see it in time so the conductor and him were prying it out from between the drive wheels.

Now, I could drive it in 7-7.5 hours and that's all the way to San Rafael, not obliging my daughter to pick us up in Oakland. Anyway, I forgot how much it cost but 11 hours? Hard benches? There were at least six stops, I wasn't counting? The food car was closed, due to lack of refrigeration.

Cured me. And Fairy Jerry's Bullet Train will be the same situation when it's finished in 30 years or so and who knows how many Billions of taxpayers dollars for a product that nobody wants and for which there is zero NEED.

Typical Contractor and Union welfare project. It's amazing that it has gone this far? It's a gdamned joke!

end of rant
Good hunting. El Bee

Do they allow horse & buggy racing at Irwindale ???
No..........
Wait.........
They're closing Irwindale.
Coincidence ???......... I think not !!!

A long time ago, a wise man told me "You get what you settle for and you deserve what you get."
Kind of applies to Calif. voters & politics, too.
