I live in a more suburban area, out past Pomona Valley, actually called the West End, (of San Bernardino County) We are considered area code 909 hicks by LA people, and we vote Republican, like Orange County. With that in mind, I don't understand the handlebar bolted to the bench? Is it for Fairies to sit on, or what? I can't imagine a useful purpose?

edit: also, I have never seen those green benches. Our public benches are precast concrete, makes them difficult to carry off.
