Just tuning in to election coverage.

Don't want to get my hopes up. But... Can't help it!

Can't stand the fucker, you all know that, but I voted for him and I'm sure as hell pulling for him.

Switched over to CNN, just to see, they are shitting their pants!

Hope this doesn't look and sound dumb by morning...

Same here... I didn't think Trump had a chance nationally even though he would easily win Idaho. I cast my vote for him more as a vote against Clinton.

I guess we will see what happens by morning, but right now a revolution is forming.

You know, I have been checking 538 and He says Trump has a 95% chance.

So....I decided to get in here and the topic I was thinking of was: HOLY SHIT!

Can't count our chickens before they hatch but somehow or another the NY Times is predicting 302 electoral votes for Trump. WTF?

Predicting is not a slam dunk but Be still my heart!

Just called North Carolina for Trump!

Hillary Headquarters is on Suicide Watch!

edit: Wisconson looks like it's going for Trump?

edit: So excited, I almost started crying, fear cripes sakes! This is BIG, Folks!

Stay tuned

Of the states still up for grabs, Trump is favored in at least ten states. Not a slam dunk, but he's close and has his boot on Hillary's throat.

This is an unbelievable comedown for The Bitch. I am positive she thought she deserved this Presidency, damn near preordained.

I still can't believe it!

Wisconsin baby!

Michigan, Michigan, Michigan. HE gets that and I can go to bed.

Iowa now in the bag too. That means a win is totally possible even without Michigan.

Holy shit!

All the Liberal Media, ABC, MSNBC, CNN are really dragging their feet on calling all the close races. They are all proving to be especially bad losers. I really feel bad for them.

edit: watching ABC, don't know his name but he's like a major anchor on the news hour, he just said: Trump won because of UNEDUCATED WHITE MEN

Before, they were all talking about "white men without a college degree", but this asshole just smoothed it out that Trump was elected by nail dragging racist Neanderthals.

I won't watch CNN for reasons I've already stated. I'm watching Fox right now. I wish I could punch Juan Williams and Karl Rove square in the nose. Even Chris Wallace has said some stupid shit.

I will stay up until this is decided. Watching the Hillary campaign headquarters and all of those long faces and tears makes me think. If Trump wins they think they'll have to go out and get a job. Human Gimme Pigs.

Here in Idaho. Our votes don't mean shit. We know that. Me & my daughter voted @ the little church in town.

Went to the local bar. Had a beer. What a atmosphere !! This was an hour or so ago.

I pray Trump does 1/2 of what he says..

I can't see where "Hillary has a path"? But the states still out there that haven't been decided, if you ask me, it looks like they all favor Trump? Therefore, I'm thinking Trump has to be considered "President Elect"?

They might not stick their neck out and announce a winner, and I'd like to go to bed. They don't seem to care?

At Clinton Headquarters it's like a Wake. The Trump headquarters is still in party down mode. So, I guess everybody knows except the friggin' announcement is not forthcoming.

I have been surfing all the networks and it's just simply delicious to see all the Liberal Pundits taking turns at recriminations. The electorate is ignorant! And, Stupid!

Of course, 80% of Hollywood will be moving to Canada. I guess they can't take a joke?

Remember, this is all about the Supreme Court! That's our victory, regardless of what Trump accomplishes.

Two things, FULL STOP!
The first issue is, IN YOUR FACE, OBAMA!

Second thing is, everybody knew Hillary was a particularly poor candidate, and, UP YOURS, BITCH!

That's as good as I can be, as a gracious winner. Fuck Clinton!

Yes, I saw that too. And, just switched to CBS and they have a sign on the screen that Hillary called Trump and conceded the election.

It's the Supreme Court, snagged away from the Liberal Bitch, Hillary.

He's coming out and I am getting emotional again. Damn, I really thought I would be hating that fucking Bitch for at least four more years. Thank you! There is a God!

Let's hope he keeps his promises. Nullifying all of Obama's illegal executive orders and nominating conservative justices to the SCOTUS.

Gimsberg said she'd leave the country if Trump was elected. Unfitting words from a member of the court who is supposed to be non partisan.

Let that dried up Prune leave then. She was an ACLU Lawyer before, should never have been confirmed anyway.

This is really unprecedented. The Democrats are going to go to War, they won't concede a thing.

Just think, we have the Senate, the House and the Executive, seems like he can get that fucking wall built. And, dump Obamacare.

Look for Obama to go with scorched earth between now and january 20, 2017. He's letting convicts out of prison and giving them the vote. Nice try.

I was hoping they would call Penn before I went to bed. My biggest fear was having her run the table of the remaining states and come from behind.

I told my wife this morning that I would bet the old hag is shaking in her boots. I think the prospect of an AG Gowdy or Guliani coming after her and the Foundation is a sure bet.

With that said, I am sure Mr. O already is drafting pardons...

I stayed up till like 3 this morning. I just had so much fun tuning in to MSNBC and watching those idiots actually arguing with each other and eating their own words. Very satisfying.

I was out doing some calling yesterday evening, and had no intentions on coming home to watch this thing cause I thought the bitch was going to win. I tuned in late...I figured it was going to be a blowout until I realized that she already had California's 55 votes, then I realized , holy shit....this is a race!

Much has been said about all of the stupid uneducated white males voting for Trump...just saw that majority of uneducated AND educated white males AND women, both educated and noneducated voted for Trump.

I was just getting up from my recliner to go to bed when the race was called for Trump. A few minutes before midnight here.

Like others have stated here. I pray that Trump keeps his promise to nominate originalists to the SCOTUS. I also hope he will restore confidence in the DOJ and the FBI along with the other alphabet agencies that Obama has corrupted.

Seeing the reaction of some world leaders is encouraging.

If you think the media's treatment of GW Bush was bad wait until you see what they have in store for Trump. You can see a preview by going to the New Yorker magazine's facebook page. We're all stupid, uneducated louts according to them.

I think Fox is lucky their election coverage was on the ground floor last night. I think if poor old Juan Williams had found a window he would have bailed out.

Guess Rachel Mad-Cow over at PMSNBC was pretty upset, too.

Election was priceless, but the meltdown of the left is pretty darn entertaining, too!

Yeah its fun to watch all these leftists and media elitists crying in there expensive wine because the blue collar whities had had enough of there bullshit. I really do hope he makes good on all he promised. He has no excuses he's got both houses of Congress and will have a Conservative majority on the Supreme Court. He really does have a great opportunity to "Make America Great Again".

Andrea Mitchell should keep away from sharp objects and open windows above the ground floor. Rachel Mad Cow, wow, she will no doubt smite her bitch tonight. The rest of them have never been in this position before, it's like nobody cares what they think anymore? It's like a Liberal Twilight Zone, or Groundhog Day; this can't be real, can it?

I really feel their pain. That no talent black woman that is Oprah's BFF, had a blank stare when Frank Lutz said Hillary is a terrible candidate: "Huh? Obama said she is the most qualified candidate in history?" Everybody knows Obama wouldn't lie about something like that. Just shows how out of touch the Liberal Media is and always has been from mainstream America.

I must be some kind of sadist, although I never enjoyed pulling wings off of flies? But, it's so satisfying to watch and listen to the Corrupt Media try to figure out what happened.

I don't know when I ever felt so good about a stupid election? But, Pundits; listen up! She lost because regular normal citizens just hate the Clintons and her in particular! She's arrogant and figured her brilliant plan to cover her PAY FOR PLAY dealings. I sure hope they do not let the investigations drop into the Bogus Foundation. Damn, she really could be sweating a conviction and jail time. It's no joke, but it's funny as hell.

Good hunting. El Bee

I have seen 3 or 4 liberal women political commentators actually cry on tv today...Hillary almost cry giving her concession speech, you could tell she had cried before she came out there...and we are supposed to elect a super emotional woman to that office? I don't know, I like someone like Condi Rice maybe? Or Margaret Thatcher?

Did you see Hillary's glass ceiling building where she was going to party down? Compared to Trumps rather bland digs for his crowd? Clinton peeps sipping wine expecting a blowout in their favor? The fucking arrogance of the Clintons was part of their downfall...and they are so fucking smug they never saw it coming...you know..like a (Trump) train.

Trump is an arrogant dick...but it's better than that bitch...and her pedifile husband.

I'm sorry, but I don't see Hillary as the crying type? I think it's more likely that she flew into a fit of rage! Everybody knows that she swears like a sailor and berates all her underlings when something doesn't go as planned? I'd say last night didn't go as planned and she had an epic meltdown....which was why she broke with all tradition and was physically unable to deliver a civil concession speech. She don't do gracious congratulatory speeches, totally incapable. And, she's not charming at all, she's a gdamned crook, let's face it. As evil Bitch as ever walked the earth.

I bet she was the last one in the room to give in, probably wanted to protest every state she expected to win, claim the rotten Republicans are trying to steal her birthright. Somebody obviously bitchslapped her and sent Podesta out to send the crowd home. Even then, she was seething and probably unwilling to give up? That the Democrats nominated such a woman with so many character flaws is amazing and incredible.

Wouldn't it be nice if she just bought an island somewhere and we never heard of Hillary Clinton ever again?

I love it!

Do away with Dept. of Education while he's at it. Fold Labor into Commerce and reduce the overall footprint of both. And either get HUD's shit in the right pile or do away with them too.

Bad news about sheriff Joe. One positive thing tho is Arizona won't have the Obama administration to deal with. Maybe the US can reestablish its position in the world.

Obama has diminished our country and aided the rise of ISIS, Hamas and Iran. If you look at what he's done in the Middle East he has been ousting the leaders of countries considered non secular and putting Muslim Brotherhood types in their place unifying them all the while treating Israel like crap.

Brent,
Unfortunately, he can give her a general pardon, even though she hasn't been charged with anything.

It is basically the same pardon that Gerald Ford gave to Nixon in '74.

I think Mr. O is very, very protective of his legacy and the more I think about it, I believe he will let her butt flap in the wind.

Of course, I could be wrong. I think he might give her a pardon to protect his own butt, as he is just as deep in the email scandal as she is.

Posted by DAA (Member # 11) on November 10, 2016, 11:40 AM:

Not sure what to think about a preemptive general pardon.

On the one hand, hate to see her get off scott free. But, then again, never, ever, ever expected anything else.

And... Giving her one, is an explicit admitting of guilt. And, like you just said Booger, an implied admitting of complicity.

Not entirely sure I wouldn't get some sort of pleasure from that? Given I never in ten million years believed she could ever be indicted or punished.

Dunno though... Probably rather not have it happen?

You are probably right? Why beat an old lady when she's down, right?

But, it would serve the BITCH right!

Just think what it must be like to be Hillary Clinton? This bitch has focused on being the first President of the U.S. all her life, and now her dream is in the crapper.

And, she was fine with getting the questions fed to her by Brazile. She was fine with the entire News Media working in her corner. A fucking stacked deck; Trump was absolutely RIGHT!

And, with all the advantage, the greed, the assurances, to have all the expectations come crashing down on her head! You really have to appreciate where she's at right now. Not in a million years will the Media allow her to be indicted, that probably won't happen, but she has to be concerned. After all, she didn't expect to be sucking hind teat right now, either.

Can you imagine that ego dealing with this loss? Three days ago, supremely confident, now she can't believe she lost! She's not the type to accept this magnanimously, not on this planet!

But, they are trying to make this into a friggin' RACIST ISSUE! That's all they know, they have been beating it to death for 8 fucking years. They firmly believe it....white people are racists. Not true and never was, and they have not a "smidgen" of proof, but they have been programed since grade school.

And, apparently, Trump knows what's going on, too. They say one of the first things he wants to dump, after Obamacare, is The Department of Education! Then, he can clean out the EPA and reform the IRS. The following week, not sure, but it sure be interesting.

Hopefully, there will be a provision in the deal that she just quietly fades away, never to darken our lives again.

Yes Dave, you are stupid. I am stupid. The electoral college is stupid. Not getting their way is stupid. Being responsible is stupid. Getting a job and paying your own way is stupid. If your white your stupid.

Generation Snowflake are the most fucked up bunch of little bitches I've ever seen.

Electoral college is an interesting subject to me. If enough states sign on it will be effectively ended...each state will pledge it's electoral votes to the popular vote winner. Funny, nobody was complaining about it until Trump started kicking ass.

That's all Snowflakes have learned in college, Protest 101. Where were they at the polls? Couldn't be bothered? I heard that their instructors have given them a pass on midterms if they are too upset. Of course, never have to account for anything, truly the most coddled generation in history: safe spaces, Black lives matter, etc.

We can go on accommodating these kids that probably won't have a friggin' job before they are 30 years old, degrees in climate change and black studies are a dime a dozen. I saw a kid explain to the reporter that Trump can't kill ISIS because ISIS is an "idea"; whatever that means, but it sounds like something he's been hearing on campus.

It's amazing how a college education is so easy these days, and yet, so worthless. It's been this way for years, a college degree is not quite the equal of a high school diploma 30 years ago. How's that for progress?

I could not disagree more.

My kid is 21 now and in his third year of college.

In two more years, he'll be 23, have three degrees including an electrical engineering masters degree. Will be completely debt free. Will have about $25K of his own money in the bank.

And, the best part, the part where I just can't agree with you even a little bit Leonard... He's doing an internship now ($15 an hour, to learn). The firm he is interning with has made him a standing offer of $120K a year, to start, the day he gets his masters. At 23 years old.

His plan is to live with us two more years, save basically every dime he makes and buy his first house in a super expensive super nice neighborhood up on the hill. Have that paid for before he turns 35. I've been hammering it into him for years to start socking away at least 10% for retirement from day one and he's on board. By the time he's my age he won't have to work if he doesn't want to.

College degree not worth anything? Sorry, but I see it completely the opposite.

Kids these days damn well better get one if they don't want to grind away getting less and less for their work and more and more fucked their entire lives.

The world has moved on. Kids need some kind of skills training beyond high school or their chances for doing better than my generation are about zero.

My only goal in life, at this point, is to get my daughter through college. Both kids have degrees, I'll call it a job well done.

Dave with all do respect your son is the exception not the rule these days.I really respect him for doing it the way it should be done. But Leonard is right, that's why Bernie Sanders had such a big following with the kids. They want everything right now and when it doesn't materialize. Its the systems fault. That's why they want everything given to them. Free education, a guaranteed job when they are done. Nice car, Iphone, etc. And why so many 30 year olds are still single and living with Mom and Dad. I see it all over the place. They want it all. They take what capitalism gives them, then bitch and more about how bad Capitalism is. It amazes me.

Yeah, I appreciate support but never need it to expound my theories.

Dave, I think you may be speaking about an exception and you are cherry picking my comments. It's all over the place, these kids may just as well stay home and watch Sesame Street. All the credit in the world to your son that apparently hasn't fallen far from the tree? But to use that as an argument against my comments doesn't work for me? There must be something I said that you are nibbling on that doesn't exactly convey my essential thoughts? I don't know but if it is what it is, all we can do is agree to disagree, until I figure out what it is that is your point of disagreement?

It's all there, check it out and get back to me, but be careful with your exceptions, because I don't see the rest of these "snowflakes" supporting themselves if Mommy and Daddy pull the plug on the money.

I just see it differently. I'm exposed to a lot of college kids on a pretty regular basis. I'm just not seeing what you guys are talking about. Not at all.

You sure you're not buying into some media bullshit?

Seriously, what you are describing just isn't at all what I am actually seeing in talking to and being around quite a few college kids fairly often.

Maybe it's just that I'm exposed to engineering students, at a Utah college? They mostly seem to have their heads on a lot straighter than I did at their age though.

For the ones that are like you guys are talking about, which I'm sure are out there, I'm blaming their parents, more than anything. Either one of my kids were to cop an attitude like that and my wife would have that shit squashed before I could even have a chance to.

A young person with that kind of attitude, probably had it a long time before they got to college. And it ain't going to get them anywhere. So let them stew in their juices.

I'm just thinking of a counterpoint to the previous example.

My son-in-law is extremely successful, he's been with Apple almost 26 years and seems to me he can pretty much write his own ticket. That's it, oh and a degree from Cal Poly, but an average silicon valley IT guy with two daughters, married (I think) 26 years now?

So, they are doing okay, older daughter graduated from Cal State last year and is working in her speciality but living at home. Second daughter is not very interested in school and dropped out, but got a job at the front desk at a restaurant. Also, living at home, obviously. Neither girl, I would be surprised if they have $25,000 in the bank, but dad has plenty for all of them.

Obviously a different situation than the above example, but who's more indicative of the millennial culture? Well, there is no such thing as an average anything, but kids fall into their rank on the bar graph. Neither of my granddaughters pay rent, they have the latest electronics and a credit card but I think Corey is bankrolling all of it, including my daughter, who hasn't worked in about fifteen years, yet has a housekeeper.

The question is who actually needs the degree, Devon quit before she even chose a major, but she had a full ride and an apartment off campus so she could have sweated it out, if she saw a need? Well, I don't support her decision, don't get me wrong, but will it influence what she does, girl children being what they are, maybe marrying and some guy supporting them forever, I don't know? But neither has a boyfriend so it could go anywhere?

Actually, I'm driving up there in a couple weeks for Thanksgiving so maybe I will gain some insight, then? What I am saying is, it's a little shaky to draw broad conclusions from my family and maybe Dave's son is just as representative....or not, of his personal achievements and prospects. I don't see either example as smashing with a hammer, (or wiping it; like with a cloth) my previous observations?

For those that take advantage of their educational opportunities, of course, it is a wonderful advantage. But, here's where I'm coming from. Free college for everybody is not only a waste of time and resources, but, (ultimately) somebody has to pay for it.

We already have college graduates that can't find a job. You know, I'm not a Europhile, but they do have very good vocational training for things such as electricians and machinists and other vocations that do not require a college degree but do pay a decent wage and provide a good living. I guess that's where I am at as far as the liberal arts majors that have a path to more education and a teaching position but that's about it? Everyone wants to sit on their ass and plink on a computer but somebody has to deliver the mail.

I don't know how else to put it, but if they have so much time to protest and then not take exams, then I really don't see where making this "education" free, will help society, where the rubber meets the road. It seems to me that the whole enchilada has taken a hard left and needs correction if we ever hope to return to reality. These protests are a waste of energy, and somebody needs to stand up and slap a few spoiled brat faces, get back in school and do something productive. Read my lips; protests are counterproductive, children.

You know, actually what I was strongly disagreeing with to start, wasn't anything to do with the kids or their culture.

But simply the value of a college degree.

I firmly believe that a degree is more valuable today than it ever has been.

Statistics, well, we all know they can be made to say just about anything. But they seem pretty clear to me that the wage gap between those with and without degrees is bigger now than it has ever been. And, my belief is that it is only going to keep getting bigger.

Haves and have nots. The ruling class and the proles. It's not where this country is headed. It's where this country is. It sucks and if I could change it I sure as hell would. But I can't. So I'm doing the best I know how, to prepare my kids for a life in the world as I see it to actually exist.

My son's grand plan... It may or may not pan out the way he has it laid out. Better chance it won't go the way he envisions, really. Life being what it is and all. I suspect pussy is going to derail it at least somewhat, at some point.

But, it's that masters degree, that makes it possible for him to have such a plan - that depends on no luck, depends on nobody ever lifting a finger or spending a dime to help him. A realistic plan to get where he wants in life entirely on his own effort.

The fact he has worked his little ass off since he was in jr. high to be in a position to graduate with zero debt and his own hard earned cash in the bank, that's about him. And I don't think THAT is representative at all.

But the fact that having that degree puts him in a position with a clear path to wealth and a life of relative privilege, I think that's pretty universal.

How each kid gets there, is not. What they do with the advantage of that position, is not either.

But, nobody is going to convince me that a college degree is not extremely valuable today and in the foreseeable future.

And, girl kids, yeah... Going to be a very different road from here to graduation with her, if we get there at all. But it really is my main goal in life right now.

Of course, all this is coming from a guy with only a 9th grade education, too. So, take with as much salt as you like!

quote:

Yes, I already knew that. And, yet you are doing okay. I'm glad you clarified, and I do not disagree, a college education is an advantage. IT CAN BE, that's all I have to say about that.

Not really, I think Obama, and Clinton stress a college education, and who would disagree? But, the fact is, it's not for everyone.

Another personal example: I do, yet neither of my kids completed college. My son earns a decent living as a CNC machinist, on a five axis machine which actually requires skills equal to a university degree. It takes all kinds and as I said above, somebody has to deliver the friggin' mail! My son couldn't see past baseball as a living, but that didn't work out either.

I think a college education is what you make of it but I also see that a lot of it is dumbed down. Sometimes I see supposedly educated students that are, (no other word for it) IGNORANT. Anyway, it's not the be all and end all and you are doomed without it!

Let's just say it's a difficult subject and concept to appreciate.

The college degree is not "worth" as much as it was 20 years ago. Now kids are going to get their master's degrees in order to get ahead of the curve. That having been said, I think they still have to have at least a bachelor's degree.

My younger son is looking at a doctorate, possibly. I don't know how these kids wil do it all considering the expense.

Nick, Baby! Each day since Tuesday night I have looked at with a fresh attitude. What a blessing! To not worry about what that Bitch could do to the country in four years is, or has worked wonders for my whole outlook. It's a wonderful world out there.

Except, you can count on Liberals to fuck things up! These riots, I firmly believe are orchestrated by her squads to disrupt civil protests.

Listen to me everybody! IT'S ALINSKY'S HANDBOOK FOR RADICALS ! We all know that Hillary wrote her Senior Thesis on this very subject, so she knows exactly which buttons to push and levers to operate. Face it, she is a virtual COMMIE and we can thank our lucky stars that she was shot down in flames Tuesday night!

If you think she has given up, you don't know this evil bitch! She is analyzing the entire campaign, top to bottom looking for flaws. Right now, she is sticking needles into her James Comey doll and hoping he dies of the Clap! No doubt, this bitch has enough vindictiveness to last a long time and it's so wonderful, thinking that this is how she will spend her remaining days, withering away, consumed with bitterness.

What a poor and vial choice by the Democrats! I'm thinking about it though, who else do they have? Nancy? Harry? Sanders? What's her name, the Loony Tunes from Maine or wherever? She's kinda cute for an old broad but a commie just like the rest. The democrats have Organized Labor, Blacks, the welfare roles, (of course) the Media, but what potential candidate comes to mind? I know, the Governor of New York? We could beat him, he looks like a gangster and since he's from NY, probably is?

All in all, what a refreshing attitude, Lenbo! Very Rosy! To say nothing about the Supremes and our Second Amendment! I hope nobody asks me for a loan, because I'm in a vulnerable state right now.

An update:

First, there are reports that they have some type of online petition with the intent to convince the people that will cast the electoral votes to vote for Clinton instead of Trump. In other words, in some states, the electors are not actually obligated to vote for the candidate that won. Apparently, there are laws in some states and no requirement in others. So, what they are pushing for is to switch votes from the 270 threshold and award them to Clinton with the rationale that more people voted for her than Trump.

In other words, this is a classic juvenile "do over". When you don't like the results, a sore loser will search for ways to deny reality. Theoretically, it could be done but would Trump supporters stand around and allow it? Doubtful.

There is talk about the professional protesters, five days after the election and you figure something must be driving it besides Facebook. Of course, you can't discount social media, although I personally use none of it.

Anyway, if there is something that would REALLY spark a conflict, it would be an attempt to fiddle with the structure and form of the electoral process. In that case, look out kids, you are really getting in over your heads. And, that's all I got to say about that.

came across this little blurb that addresses the issue. Who knows?

"Clinton would need more than 20 GOP electors to go rogue and vote instead for her — a mighty tall order.

Even then, the new, Republican-controlled Congress meets Jan. 6 to approve the electoral college vote, and would certainly vote to void any roguery, handing the victory firmly back to Trump."

So, seems the sore losers are just spinning their wheels? Hopefully.

I thought I had clarified. Guess not.

I don't see it in the kids I know either though. Still suspect it's not nearly so prevalent as the media is portraying it.

And, that it's largely driven by faculty where it's occurring. It need not be tolerated, either. Liberal local policy makers reaping what they sow.

I strive to reserve equal skepticism for media that appears to confirm my beliefs as I do for media that contradicts them.

I see no good guys in the media. Don't trust Fox anymore than I do CNN. They promote an agenda I'm in favor of, but I try not to forget that they are still, promoting an agenda. With all the same bias and selective reporting and echo chamber bullshit as any other cable news outlet. I use the term "news" very loosely in describing any of them, BTW...

They are all, to be viewed with a jaundiced, untrusting eye.

They know it will dwindle away in the coming weeks. BUT they should realize that IF they ever did push it to the point of say total anarchist revolution they wouldn't stand a chance against the "white uneducated men" of American. I actually find it somewhat ironic and amusing. But only somewhat. Plenty of innocent property owners and small business taking losses for it so can't be too smug over it.

Potentially useful too though. I think, not certain but think that if the dems let this kind of stuff push them farther left they'll get punished for it in the mid terms.

But I also think Trump's victory was not a conservative uprising so much as a display of anger at the elitist progressive establishment.

Could be wrong on all counts.

GOP could easily screw it up either way.

Going to be interesting to see.

All of the crap about the Electoral College and hijacking electors came up when Bush beat Gore. Everyone was waiting with baited breath thinking that some of them would go rogue but no one did.

If that were to happen I really think it would be the straw that breaks the camel's back. The people that voted for Trump would take to the streets and it wouldn't be in isolated protests. Those people have a constitutional duty to perform and they've always taken that responsibility seriously.

Here's the thing. Electors are appointed by the individual parties. I think my state has 4 Electoral College votes. Dems pick 4 electors and Republicans appoint 4. Oregon being the commie state it is has 4 Democrats that will vote for the Democrat if they vote at all and the states where Trump won will have Republican electors voting so it's highly unlikely that they will vote for Hillary.

I saw where in one city people were protesting the cops said they were arriving in buses. Fully organized protests with a lot of professionally made signs. Someone got shot in Portland last night and the perps turned out to be gang members.

Soros is paying for the protests as is the CPUSA (Communist Party USA) With Soros that makes him guilty of sedition which is right up there with treason. I'd be tickled if Trump stripped him of his citizenship and deported him back to one of the countries he fucked over. Putin wants him in Russia. He could spend his remaining days in a Gulag for all I care.
