Well it is finally here on the 19th of this month I get to take my thirteen year old granddaughter hunting. I got a javelina tag on a fluke just for something to do. Well she showed interest in going so I am giving my tag to her which is allowed in Az. I am taking her to Safford(hi koko) on Sat. to complete her field day for the hunters safety course and she will be 100 % legal. Then we will be off the following weekend to a unit up north near my place in Ash Fork Unit 19-b.I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I have scouted the unit and found some good places to set up and glass. I cant tell you how much I want her to love this as I do what an incredible thing and a way of life to pass on. Wish me luck.

So where ya gonna be on Sat. ?????
And what time ?????

If it's out at the public range, bring your bow; we also have an archery course set up. We could shoot a few arrows.

I can only envy. No grandaughters have shown the slightest interest in what I do.

Take pics, Paul.

Good hunting. El Bee

Good for you. I have a grandson and a son. Neither really like hunting. I've taken them but they just like other things. My son loves riding dirt bikes at the Imperial dunes. Grandson is in college and has a girl friend right now. Maybe grandson will come around later; or maybe I leave my guns and reloading equipment to my 3 year old grand daughter. Hopefully it will be after her 18th birthday if I live to be 80.

That's excellent, Paul!
Great memories to follow, no doubt!
Can't wait til my niece tells me she wants to go hunting...
Excited for both of you!!!

But seriously. I am at the stage where I have to consider my Immortality, realistically.

What do I do with my stuff? I am probably a procrastinator of the first order, so I may never get around to rendering my desires on paper?

With guns, I guess it might be better to see that they get where I would want them to go, before my Alzheimer's gets any worse? (that's a bit of a joke)

I dislike lawyers as a general principle and have avoided them, having never sued nor been sued, or prosecuted for anything other than a parking ticket. ( yes, I did get a parking ticket in San Francisco about 40 years ago)

So, one of these days, I need to address the issue, but meanwhile, <shrug>

Cool Beans, Paul! I am finding in our Hunter Education classes here in Kansas, that 50% of the students we have had in classes since 2006 have been female.

Enjoy the time with her!

I will take pics lots of them success or not.
