I was looking at MRC, a site devoted to fairness and balance primarily on TV.

They had an article about the lack of coverage over the Planned Parenthood "expose' videos". If you aren't current, they are concerning abortions and selling fetal tissue.

They said that the Networks have been suppressing these videos and only a little over one minute has been broadcast in the past several weeks. This is deliberate because (as we know) the Networks are LIBERAL and they are "For Choice" and the other side is called, "Anti Abortion".

There have been what? 8 or 10 undercover videos and they have been all over conservative media, but damned near complete silence on the public broadcast airwaves. This is deliberate control of information, which you can be concerned about, as it suits you best.

But, here is my observation. Why is so much time devoted to every cop shooting a black man, and the stirring up of the black segment to the point that blacks are ambushing police officers sitting in a squad car. That's the result of sensationalizing every incident involving:

A) Blacks
B) Police
C) Guns
D) Imagined Injustice, etc.

What I propose is a damned near blackout on all media of all this shit. Maybe read it along with baseball scores and the weather?

But, don't roll to the site of every shooting with a remote satellite feed to breathlessly announce every detail! Don't they understand they are actively promoting the next incident? Even freeway shootings in Phoenix create copycat teenagers throwing rocks at vehicles on the freeway.

The more they sensationalize these things, it is fueling more crazies to gain notoriety. Even if they wind up blowing their brains out, at least they are sure to make the 6 o'clock news....so for these types of individuals, it seems glorious and justified. We always have mental problems in the population and that's another thing: Most of these people are on some kind of anti depressant, when all the facts are known. But, this doesn't make the NEWS.

Anyway, that's my idea. It's not rocket science, either.

Less sensationalistic coverage of shooting, mass murder and supposed black discrimination. PLEASE

Will it happen? Fuck no, the Media is completely irresponsible!

I agree. We just got back Saturday night from Colorado. Stayed in the mountains, but did venture into Denver several days.

They had an incident along I-225 where an idiot shot out a window of a car and peppered the driver with glass...other than cuts no other injuries.

Along with that, the news reported that there was an anonymous caller to 911, (guess what ethnicity it sounded like, as they broadcast the actual 911 call), that indicated any Aurora policeman or firefighter caught by themselves would be shot on sight.

I think it is stupid to broadcast that crap as it gives crazies more fuel for the fire...at any rate, it was on Fox News as well.

Don't think it was in the best interest of the PD to let the public know.

Yeah, you get it.

My point is they push trivial stuff that belongs on the Police Blotter and how much real news of value do they squeeze into that 22 minutes? And, have ABC, CBS and NBC had anything to say about Iran and their Nuke program other than to crow that Obama WON!

They are privileged to broadcast on the public airwaves and I think it's time they proved they deserve the trust that goes to:

**** The Impartial Fourth Estate ****

Doesn't look like it to me?

Recently those football players in Texas decided to take out a ref during a game.

Now it has happened again at another school in San Antonio.

This gets around in the media and it will happen again and again, just like the mass shootings we see.

Not really a fan of the song, but, from 1982 and I don't think it has actually gotten any worse, just more channels and a viscous 10 second news cycle.

Don Henley, Dirty Laundry - chorus edited out by me...

I make my living off the evening news
Just give me something
Something I can use
People love it when you lose
They love dirty laundry

Well, I coulda been an actor
But I wound up here
I just have to look good
I don't have to be clear
Come and whisper in my ear
Give us dirty laundry

We got the bubble headed
Bleached blonde
Comes on at five
She can tell you 'bout the plane crash
With a gleam in her eye
It's interesting when people die
Give us dirty laundry

Can we film the operation
Is the head dead yet
You know the boys in the newsroom
Got a running bet
Get the widow on the set
We need dirty laundry

You don't really need to find out
What's going on
You don't really want to know
Just how far it's gone
Just leave well enough alone
Eat your dirty laundry

Dirty little secrets
Dirty little lies
We got our dirty little fingers
In everybody's pie
We love to cut you down to size
We love dirty laundry

We can do the Innuendo
We can dance and sing
When it's said and done
We haven't told you a thing
We all know that Crap is King
Give us dirty laundry

Mainstream media is liberal and biased. No question. But, they are a business, and business is good.

Actual journalism is almost dead. NPR/PBS is the most liberal biased news org in the country. But, they do still practice some actual journalism. I put on my liberal filters and watch or listen to them quite a bit, they put their massive spin on everything, but, they do actually report, as opposed to provide "opinion entertainment". The WSJ does real journalism too and I follow it as well. A few other outlets, big newspapers mostly, have sporadic outbursts, but there just ain't much out there anymore.

Hard to make any money doing journalism these days...

I think this is a deliberate attempt to inflame the black community to the point that they can impose Marshall law. These people know exactly what they are doing. As much as I like to hate Obozo he's just a puppet for the powers that be.
they must have your guns to accomplish their goal.

The radical in the link posted by Leonard states that saying "All lives matter" is a violent statement.

This shows how warped these people really are.

Had a lady make a remark to me today that is telling. She said that she thinks the "state" wants to get felony convictions on as many people as they can through overreach by law enforcement and the courts because felons can neither vote or own guns. Push people into acting/ reacting, then use the courts to take their freedoms. Interesting thought.

Funny Cdog that most of us think the same as you do. But then again they call me MR. Conspiracy.
I really pitty the fools that think otherwise.
When reality finally hits and the sheeple in America wake up it will too late. We will have already become a nanny socialist"Safe" for the government state and not a nation of so called "Free men".
Enjoy what freedoms we have left because they sure will not last.

I couldn't agree more with what every one of you guys have already said.

Dave, I agree with you on the song. I sometimes think about that when the news is on. Which I hardly watch anymore, including FOX..
