We'll see. Supposed to get our 1st snow, Thursday. Looks like a fairly wet pattern following, looks like rain/snow and such.

We need it, hopefully we won't be talking the dreaded (drought) word, later this winter.

Dave, we had snow flurries on Halloween. It's been wet and cold ever since. No sizable snowfall as of yet and I hope it stays that way for a while.

Definitely turned colder the last three or four days, overcast, or cloudy. I was out of town over the weekend but the wind was really blowing up there! Back home, I found some plants in pots tipped over that must have required quite a strong wind? I have had the furnace on the past three days, as well. Leaves are falling. I don't think it reaches seventy degrees all day long....burrr!

The problem with Southern Kalifornia is positively NOT the climate. Really, the best climate in the world. Our problems are political. Too many Liberals and Democrats and higher taxes and more control, not to mention the gun situation which would drive a man insane. I aught to have my ass kicked for staying here! I need to go where people have a lot more sense.

Right now, I think Arizona is very possible, as is Nevada. I like Wyoming, not so much for the weather, but the political climate is wonderful!

I gotta do something besides just thinking about it and whining. This state is fucked up! Want proof? One word: Jerry Brown!

Good hunting. El Bee

edit: my local mountain, Mount San Antonio also known as Mt. Baldy has a lot of snow since Saturday.

I left Calif. back in 93 work brought me to Az. I have not regretted 1 minute of it, I literally get a sick feeling in my gut when approaching the border going to visit. Where you go is a matter of choice but all sound better than that third world arm pit.

Yeah, it was 15 when I got to work, with wind I'm guessing it put it around zero ?

I feel bad for those east of the Rockies, they're about 20 degrees colder ?

It's for sure coming early this year.

Yeah, like 69 here yesterday...F'ing freezing!!

Supposed to have some weather tomorrow so Im going calling. Hopefully, bobcat #2 will fall. Busted a small, bland colored one last week with almost no spots. I hate that we can only get 5 tags here. Kinda sucks but I guess I shouldnt complain, might not be able to get any pretty soon in this fucked up state.

We've been enduring a Pacific storm the past couple of days. The wind has been blowing pretty bad since early yesterday and the rain has been pouring down hard. Temps got into the 20's last night but we can take it.

I left California in August of '74 and have never once regretted it. We moved to Juneau, Alaska and found sane people right away. If you stay out of Los Anchorage you'll do okay. I worked there for a summer and a winter and hated it. I will never return. I did love Juneau, tho, and still miss it. The economy soured and I had to come outside in '86. Now I'm married to an Oregon gal and we have it pretty good but we both dislike Oregon politics. They trying hard to be like California.

I hate winter more every year. And I used to like it! Now, first day having to scrape ice off the windshield in the morning is the shittiest day of the year. Which was last Tue.

Have not lived in California since I was a child. Have not been back to visit much - a lot of trips for work, but not pleasure. Spent a week there on vacation in August, place is fucked up beyond all hope.

Hoping I won't be getting cut on and can spend Thanksgiving at our place in Nevada. Winters are actually pretty mild down where our house is by Caliente.

got up to 6 degrees here today and going to go well below zero tonight. Thankfully, although it's been snowing steadily, it's not piled up enough to need shovelin'..
I suspect callin' is going to be the best it's been for the season come Friday.

The storm named Astro just moved out of the area.

According to the NWS, 42.5" of snow fell here since late Monday afternoon.

I plowed the road into camp today. It only took 1 1/2 hours to go .8 of a mile. The bad part is that all of the deer have migrated to the yards for the winter. Firearm deer season doesn't look too good this year.

MI VHNTR, keep that powder up your way for a while; we don't want any of that crap down here yet.

Uh huh, and you wonder if you "might" need Viagra? One third gray, dog tired, six day work week and the main proof; TOO TIRED TO GO HUNTING, IN SPITE OF PERFECT CONDITIONS !

It won't be long, Pilgrim.... better stock up.

I think, I've buried myself. Might not be able to un-dig.

I wonder if there is therapy or counseling for such conditions ? I might be able to order Viagra on-line ? I wonder if they deliver on Sunday ?

Oh' well.
