Well, there goes the respect. A bunch of vicious goons, everybody rolling around on the floor. Jerks.

Good hunting. LB

You know, I watched that replay over and over to see what happened. Its not uncommon for someone to come in the cage to ask for a shot at a title or a rematch or whatever. Jason Miller was a little quick, probably should have waited til the interview was over. But Malendez, Shields and the Diaz brothers are the ones that started the shit. Jason was actually smiling, even after the first couple of shoves.

I like to watch the Diaz brothers fight, but they are nothing but a couple of street punks. Great fighters with no tact at all. They are the ones that escalated it beyond a couple of pushes.

Jason was wrong. But I have to think that three champions in the cage that started the pushing and punching is where the real problem is. Cesar Gracies crew was too quick to jump him.

Just my humble opinion.

Diaz post fight interview was like he just had a second lobotomy.

I truely enjoy MMA, I think it's absolutely the best display of skill and athleticism(sp) there is....BUT. It is evolving from what was once a noble. honorable, respectfull engagement of fighters, into being more on scale with the WWF, sad, but the participants are becoming starstruck and egotistical, from the entry to the stadium to the mouthy brash finish and interview.
Nothing like the old days of Pride fighting, where a guy could get beat to a pulp, and still drop to a knee and bow to the opponent who just bloodied him, then rise, hug and hold the victors hand aloft in sportsmans like conduct.

There is still alot of honor among fighters in most cases. Most still shake hands or hug after the fight and most still take losses well.

Tito Ortiz, Brock Lesnar and the Diaz boys are in the minority. They are total disrespectful assholes. I still think MMA is the most pure sport there is. Too bad a few dipshits have to spoil it. I guess every sport has them. Look at Manny Ramirez.

Hockey is a good sport too, they can play hard and at the end of the playoffs they all shake hands win or loose.
