Winchester came out with a predator load based on the same technology they use in their Longbeard XR turkey shells. It is a 3" 1 1/2 oz load of copper plated BB's called Varmint X. I tried a box and it shoots great out of my 835. Tightest patterns I've seen from my gun. Cost is affordable at $13-$15 per box of 10. Anyone else shot this stuff?

I'd like to try that TSS that DAA posted about but I don't reload.

You should try it. The way he explained it, it's about the easiest reloading imaginable, totally entry level. The problem is acquiring the shot.

PS congratulations, I also shoot a 835. It's my favorite.

I have used the Winchester it worked well out o the Benelli And the Beretta M-I super 90 my son in law reloads Shotgun for me and that's what I've been using of late because free is better than reasonably priced and it kills em dead.

Nothing's free, my boy.

What Benelli do you have? And what free shot size do you favor?

Damn, everything about shotguns is black magic. I'm still scratching my head over what DAA is using.
