Winters over up here in ND. Having some real nice weather and the mosquitoes aren't out yet. Almost like paradise right now. Finally getting some time to finish my load development work so to keep you guys updated on the results here's the data. New 26" BBL with 1:16 twist, 22-250 ACK. Gave up waiting for no wind conditions to finish shooting the second set of loads so went down to Fargo. They have an indoor range - nice place:

Anyways, so the sweet spots are:
39.2 Gr of IMR-4064 with the 52Gr Berger
40.1 Gr of IMR-4064 with the 55Gr Sierra SBT #1365
Both loads are in the vicinity of 4000 FPS. My Chrono broke so won't have actual numbers until I get it fixed or replaced.
I'm real happy about the Sierra shooting good in this rifle since it's my favorite hunting bullet. Just had to get the velocity up to stabilize it with the slow twist. 4000FPS with a 1:16 twist calculates out to 180,000 RPM - kinda slow but it's working. I tried the ballistic tips but my barrel don't like em no matter what I tried doing. Someone on this site gave me the IMR-4064 suggestion so I'll say thanks to whomever it was - it worked out pretty good.
OHH, almost forgot to mention - Went to load up some more of the 55Gr's and found I'd forgotten to write down the seating depth. DAMM! If memory serves I kept them a skitch off the lands so gonna try that first.

That'll work until you find something better. You are limiting yourself with that twist. But, 180,000 RPM is enough for accuracy.

Leonard, after re-establishing the seating depth used during load development, I went to the range early (real early today before the wind picked up) and shot a few groups.
The first group was another one holer.
Since I had been using the same point of aim for load development (I don't really care where the rounds are hitting because I'm looking for groups) I figured it was time to put the crosshairs where the impact was occurring but 3/4 inch high for point blank range.
Adjusted for two clicks the the right and one click down. This should give exact windage and 3/4 high at 100 Yds.
The next shot hit exactly where the scope was adjusted to (I guess the El Cheapo Weaver 24X isn't too bad after all).
Not sure you all understand what this means so I'll tell ya. The rifle is a tack driver.
Let me put this another way....Put a tack in the target at 100 Yds and I'll nail it.
