Why Why Why? They are so very stupid, so wallowing in misery, so gullible, and though it's puzzling and very tiring, they expect rational people to go along with their nonsense. <sigh>

After reading this article, I clicked on the link within this article: "warmest temperature ever observed", and I laughed because it was reported by the Communist New Agency, CNN.

What really pisses me off about this Climate Change Bull Shit is the weather scientists love it because it brings in grant money to do research, and leftist politicians want to tax carbon to fund their liberal programs like free education, free health care, etc, etc etc...  The left can never get enough money for their pet programs.

The problem I have with taxing carbon is it will not be a fair tax that is evenly distributed among the population.   Those that live in big cities that have good mass transit will pay a lesser amount of this tax on carbon.   Those that live where there is abundant hydroelectric power will not be taxed, and those of us that depend upon coal or natural gas will be taxed  heavily to pay for these leftist programs.   If the green new deal is implemented, what happens after we make the switch to non carbon energy sources.  How will all of these new leftist programs get funded?  Once the government starts a give away program, it is next to impossible to defund it.

Why is it that a large proportion of the population will be paying this tax while others won't be paying their fare share even though they will receive the benefit, assuming climate change is a real threat.   With that said,  I do not assume it is a threat.

What? Assuming climate change is real? Of course it's real, it's called weather, they keep records just to demonstrate how and why this year might be hotter than last year. People do that stuff, and that's okay. It always fluctuates, due to sunspot activity. Sometimes it trends in one direction, and they commonly call it an "ice age". Then it warms up and they can put away their fur coats and eventually, GREENLAND looks like Tahiti!

I'm typing slowly now to emphasize a point. CLIMATE CHANGE is a lie. Stop worrying about it! It's hard to believe that there are so many people that buy into this garbage! Gee, I'm upset because tomorrow might be warmer/or is it cooler? I forget, but I'm still worried that there could be a little fluctuation in global temperatures, and we should all rant, (or is it, rent?) our garments!

Wow! Half a degree by the year 2300? The oceans will rise 23 feet? You really need to 'splain me that one, Lucy! Where is all that water coming from?

Chicken Little says the sky is falling!

Don't just stand there! Do something!

Hey Leonard;
Sometime you get bored, take a drive over to the La Brea Tar Pits & the Page Museum next door. Plan on making a day of it. Really neat place.
Funny thing, though....... at the end of the last ice age (there have been several) the climate was, whisper,..... cooler. It then started to get warmer even without man kind's help. Amazing !!!
In fact, if the Natives hadn't invented the Paleo-Diet and killed off all of those methane emitting Mastodons we would all likely be up to our shorts in sea-water by now.

ko ko, I would very much enjoy a visit to the La Brea Tar Pits! I'm an archeologist junkie. In fact, I ponder it, now and then and that might have been a field I would thoroughly enjoy. When I wander, I'm always looking around for artifacts and occasionally , I do find something that is evidence of having been worked by stone age people. You know, there are clues that stand out when you find something that looks a bit unusual. When stalking the woods and deserts, I'm looking down as much as I scan for you know, movement. And I do find artifacts, just walking around, it's not necessary to excavate, especially just after a rain, things like arrow points pop out at you, although I admit, I don't find a hell of a lot of them, and the ones I find are broken in half, half the time.

Anyway, the whole topic fascinates me. All things being equal, I could indulge that hobby a lot more, if I lived anywhere that was juicy.

Good hunting. El Bee
