CAR SHOW, and <shrug> I went along with her and brought Tillie with us.
Warm day, 93 degrees. I bet I had 8 or 9 women rush up and express concern about Tillie's feet! One female sprayed water on the bottoms of her front paws!
This is the same concern I experienced at the range where several folks were worried about the gunfire blowing out her eardrums!
It seems more true every day, that the same people that could not be bothered to help a Republican hit and run victim, would get in their car and chase down the culprit, if it was a dog that was "almost" run over!
I like dogs too, but it seems like it's mainly Liberals that will break windows in your car if they think a dog is distressed....not that I would leave her in a closed up vehicle. just sayin'
Good hunting. El Bee

Hey El Bee; Is the Cars Of Stars & Planes Of Fame Museum still open over your way ???? Big Daddy Ed Roth had a workshop there and his Rat Fink concept cars were displayed there. Neat place.

I 'think" that Planes of Fame is still functional. But I don't get down that way very often. But yeah, it's the same neighborhood. They have a "4 corners" just like Utah and AZ, etc. only it's where 4 counties converge, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange and Riverside county, and it's right down in that general location that I would describe as "Chino"....but I could be wrong? It's just airports, dairies and prisons. Doesn't interest me all that much.

BUT. I'm still hearing about how thoughtless and cruel of me to bring my dog to the car show. It's a wonder I wasn't arrested....but, they will never take me alive, anyway!
Good hunting. El Bee
PS She went to either Del Taco or Taco Bell? It will be interesting to see which one she does to. Currently, I am enforcing a Del Taco moratorium. No, not enforcing, I just don't patronize the joint.

Why would anybody go to a Mexican food knock-off joint when you could go to TOMMIES ?????

I could. There is one right across the street from Costco. But it's not like the one in LA on Rampart where you fetch your bottle of Orange Crush or Nehi Grape Soda out of the chilled water cooler; just like back in the day. And, the sloppy Chile Cheeseburger you must eat off of a shelf, standing up. Don't wear your nice clothes because you could get chile all over whatever you have on. If you've been there, you know what I mean. But that's part of the mystique and you might even see some of the players, since we usually go there after a game. But, the one in Montclair has the same food, it's just that the experience is not anywhere as RETRO as the one in LA....as it should be, and expecting Sgt Joe Friday to show up in his undercover Ford Fairlane; you know, like "This is the city." All that nostalgia is free.
Another exciting trip down Memory Lane! Good hunting. El Bee
