Park rangers in national parks are federal LEO and have arrest powers. Not saying tasing someone for a minor infraction is right but you have to comply with their orders just like any other cop. On the positive side, the ranger didn't put a .40 caliber hole in him. [ December 30, 2020, 01:29 PM: Message edited by: Semp ]

I’m not questioning the ultimate authority in a serious encounter. This is about social distancing and stepping off a path and I see no justification for either 40 cal. holes or tasers.
But, let’s just take away his taser for a minute and let him justify putting a bullet in the man for non compliance. It’s a slippery slope. LB
edit: Supervisor shows up. What happened? I had to kill him, he stepped off the path! [ December 31, 2020, 05:32 AM: Message edited by: Leonard ]
