Anyone seen September?
Sure don't know where most of it went but it sure did!
It doesn't feel like autumn either but the leaves are saying fall is coming on fast.

Other half went for a long hike and I picked him and the dog up at the bottom of the ridge. A lot of the aspen are turning fast.

Fresh snow on the tall peaks this morning.

Therefore; Popcorn causes farts which causes fires leading to global warming.
So ......... using Calif. logic we must ban popcorn to save the planet.

You are joking but be careful throwing around those kind of suggestions. Liberals snag just about any looney idea and make it mandatory!

Do I LOOK like I'm joking ???
Plus ........... popping popcorn takes HEAT !!!!
Heat contributes to Global Warming. This is too serious to take a chance on. The world will be a better place when all of the popcorn fields have been plowed under for the sake of the children. It may already be too late. We may have to raise taxes to save the planet.

It's that dry here too.
BLM and Targee Forest took the fire restrictions off. Salmon Challis forest left it on.
30 degrees right now at 0530 and yesterday we hit a spot while out riding that was 27*. Sure is some very cold elk hunters camping out there. Have a hunch they are also building fires in dispersed camping areas which are closed under the stage 1 fire closure.

I have a nice fire this morning and the dog is loving it. LOL
