My daughter and SIL came up on Sunday with their troop what a blast they have four beautiful daughters and twin sons! they love to hang on G'pa and he likes it too ! Cant remember a better day. No point to this post just wanted to express my delight and gratitude to God for all the gifts in my life!

I hear ya, Buddy!
You know, here's the thing. I treasure family as much as the next guy. But, I miss them. All the time and especially special occasions like every Sunday and all holidays and observances like anniversaries and birthdays, etc.
They have disbursed just like those young coyotes of Paul's. My son is in North Carolina, my daughter is in San Rafael, northern Kommiefornia and my grandkids are in Iowa and Colorado. It gets pretty damned lonely around here, let me tell you! At least I have Pinky and Tillie, we family!

And another thing, my current main squeeze is 42 miles away on the coast, super congested Orange County!
