I am currently trying to get my bitch Airedale bred. She normally sleeps in the house in her crate. She is now outside in her kennel with a dog on loan from a breeder in Flagstaff. The coyotes were nonstop last night I was up four times. cant tell you how funny the skinny old fart must look in his skivvies running around with a shotgun.

Airedale? What happened to the one with the bump on her head?

Are you suggesting that the dog's condition was stirring up the coyotes?

What, exactly do you intend to do with a pack of Airedales?

I think John Henry wrote the book on Airedales?

What ever happened to John Henry ????

The last I heard was something about a tie-dyed t-shirt business in Colorado but that might have been a different John Henry. [Confused]

No pack of Airedales Two to family the rest will be sold. Only one litter then she will be spayed.
April (bump on the head )passed away about two and a half years ago kidney failure. wasn't gonna get another dog then as fate would have it Andy Laughlin had one he could not keep. That was miss Tally Mae. She is a very smart and good dog. one litter only not going in the breeding biz.

You know it was my grandson, Robbie that beat him in the pie eating contest!

What the hell is Andy up to? Ain't seen him around in a long time. But, we had a nice visit in Missouri, 5 or 6 years ago. He showed me a spring that belonged to his grandfather that you would have to see to believe. I mean, this thing was a gusher! Then there was that restaurant in a cave, unbelievable! And Andy said, yeah, I've been there. If you are ever around Fort Leonard Wood, it's a place not to be missed.

My granson, Aaron was out here visiting from Colorado recently. Something was said about getting a dog and I asked him what happened to the one he had, (don't recall the name)

This dog looked like a fluffy Airedale but bigger. Kind of a buckskin color, very friendly. He said it was actually Yellow Lab and Poodle.

Anyway, what happened to him. He was chasing a vehicle down on the highway, they all could see it from the front yard. So, apparently people saw the dog and stopped. Dog ran right up to them, tail wagging, etc. He hopped in, and that was the last they ever saw of him.

That's a little TOO friendly, if you ask me?

This is amazing story. My parents had a toy poodle that has a wicker basket full of soft toys. They had a name (descriptive) for every toy and they would say, "Petie, go get the green banana toy" and she would bring it back until you got tired of the demonstration. So far as I ever seen, and they said she hardly ever made a mistake and if she did it would be (like) a yellow banana, or a green hotdog, stuff like that. She was at least 98% accurate, and learned from her mistakes. Another thing; if you made a mistake and asked for a blue hotdog, she would give you a look until you realized your mistake. And don't try to trip her up, she would bark and scold you. You really had to see it to appreciate it.

Other than that, I wasn't overly fond of the little white rat. lol
But, she's buried with them, up in Olympia. Sorta. My sister was sneaky about digging up the grass. Ashes, you know?

One thing I forgot to mention. Petie had at least 100 toys in that basket and knew every one. Actually, she wasn't all that great because after she brought you the correct toy, she didn't put them back, my dad had to police up the pile of squeaky toys.
