I don't want to see Remington shamed or driven out of business, but if we have defective product, it shouldn't take a lawsuit to make it right.

I'm no lawyer, but isn't this just a judge 'rubberstamping' action taken by remington back in 2014.
Also, the video, and its content appears more to me as a sensationalised piece....I know its fox, but they aren't immune to the sensationalism of the media, and sure aren't 100% pro gun.
As far as gun sales....free market!!!!!.....deals all around

I thought it was more sensational than FOX would normally do, as far as the tone of the video. It could be the specific producer but in general, FOX is pretty even handed about Second Amendment issues.
If this is old news, I apologize.

I've owned a number of Remington 700's and an old 722 222 that had a great trigger. I have 2 700's in my safe right now that would qualify to have the triggers replaced but they were so bad out of the box I replaced them with Jewell triggers. I'm not sure if my old 700 7mm Rem Mag would qualify but I've had it so long and carried it all over Alaska with no problems.
I thought Remington said you'd have no problems with the trigger if you didn't screw with it like the Marines and cops did. Here's some videos. Make up your own mind.

I have several Model 700's. The newest, is about 5-6 years old and is the LVSF 223Ackley, rechambered from 223Rem. before it was ever fired.
I wasn't paying enough attention to exactly what happened because I don't know what I did to cause it to fire? The gun went off when I didn't expect it to, and I (for the life of me) can't tell you why it happened, or if I might have been absentmindedly fiddling with something? It's possible, I guess?
Never has anything like it happened in a lifetime of handling firearms.
