I just found out, Jack passed away in May.
Figured you might want to know Leonard, if you didn't already?
Seems like a long, long time ago that Jack asked me to co-moderate the firearms forum at PM with him. And I declined, and have always been glad that I did!

That's a shame! He was a good man and a genuine fund of knowledge.
Dave, I remember you asking me about that moderating gig at PM. You made the right choice.
Actually, I moderated the Predator hunting forum with Huber and the Firearms forum. When I felt it was becoming more than I could handle, I talked to Wil Craig and recommended Jack Roberts to take my place. He said he trusted my judgement and Jack held that position for a long time. He moved from Maryland to Elko Nevada, some years ago.
I was just thinking about him recently, don't know what brought it up?
You know, something he mentioned a long time ago was constructing a "fake" bag of garbage to lure crows so he could snipe them. For some reason, I really got a kick out of that....fake garbage! R.I.P.

Sorry to hear this...
I always liked Jack and he seemed to stay level-headed over there.
What about Shaun Frame? Is he still around anywhere? [ July 14, 2015, 06:32 AM: Message edited by: Lonny ]

I talked to Shawn a few years back. He just seemed to dropoff the face of the earth. Frame was always fun to be around. He was a smart-ass, but intelligent and funny. So I obviously enjoyed his company.
