What peace of mind looks like from my part of the world.
 -

I got a brandi-new St. Croix 6'6" ML Fast action rod with a Quantum Smoke reel. I just had to get'm broke in. Here's the very first'est fish I caught with the new set up.
 -

I had a real good weekend. I lost count of how many trout I caught and released. What I do know is that it was very good to be outside and away from everything.
 -

One more (different fish than the one above) just for fun. Sure beats working behind a desk all day!!!

Nice new rod - fish too.

I've built a lot of light spinning rods on St. Croix blanks. My backpacking rod is a factory built four piece St. Croix. Good stuff.

You are to be envied. (and, I hate you!)

Damn, that second one is a nice fish! Looks like a male, to me?

Let's all meet up at Troy's place, about August! Show him how to catch fish. He obviously needs help.

Shit, never mind, we'd probably muddy it up for him?

Good hunting. El Bee

Funny side note. Most folks aren't used to seeing me in photos without a hat. No longer need glasses either except cheaters for reading and tying fishing line. Anyway, it's created a little stir on some other sites. Leonard methinks I no longer can compete in the John Denver look alike contests. There's a new look alike contest. [Wink]

Honestly, I don't recognize the guy in the pic? I was just kidding about Uncle Joe, I actually meant Brad Pitt. But, to me you will always be John Denver. Or John's older, better looking brother.

Good hunting. El Bee

When you said Uncle Joe, I was thinking, Naw he doesn't look anything like the guy on Petticoat Junction, the old TV show.

Maybe a little like Fred Dryer from "Hunter"

Hunter

Jason Bourne's handler? I was also thinking of the old cop show from the 70's-80's
