Got to thinking about one of the posts made by the guy that left on his claim to very few nukes.
Did little checking and the U.S. Airforce still has 450 silos in use today 24/7 and not counting what the navy has but I believe 450 nukes is more than enough for starters. Nukes cannot be warn out or outdated and maintenance isn't much to keep them in shape. What can get outdated is the comp. software but U.S. is always updating that so no worries.
I know when I guarded over them for a time they would remove the war head and take it in to be checked or up graded as well as the missile, never transported in one piece, usually two parts. Good luck trying to steal one in transport, it has more coverage than Trump and secret service is not used. LOL

In a rational world that embraces the MAD, Mutually Assured Destruction concept, this 'should' be fine.
How-some-ever, we have whack-jobs like that little twerp in North Korea and the truly fuked-up 'religious' leaders in Iraq and Iran & some other shit-hole countries that think that WE are the reason their countries suck and want to provoke us.
In the end ...... this will not end well.

Basically all Nukes do is say we got em you got em we all good to go. No one really wants to use them cause they going To get the same in return.
It kind of be like a K-9 unit shows up at Leonards house and they say they have a dog and then Leonard yells back through door and says he has a dog too. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

Well, Tillie is good in socializing with other dogs, but she doesn't take any crap. What she really is, is she relates to humans far more than dogs. She's an Alpha but not bossy. So, what she would do when the Feds show up is just be a little reserved and 2 minutes later she would give them the whole house. Worst guard dog ever! Unless a couple dogs try to rob me, but they won't get away with it. She's not even conceited although she is complimented practically every day. They say she's beautiful and that's the truth, everybody knows it, but she's NOT conceited, just spoiled rotten!

Yes, and like right now, my daughter is here. Makes me feel OLD! She is here for her 40 year high school reunion! That makes me really, really old!
But, Tillie makes a big deal when somebody visits. She made a big deal Friday night when Shelley, my daughter came into town. And she made a big deal when my granddaughter got here this morning.
So, basically, she makes a big deal over any company that darkens my door. Know what I mean, ko ko? She likes everybody.
