Here's an article about scandal of allowing unauthorized person in the cockpit while in flight.

I just want to say that I once rode in the cockpit on a Club Med charter flight to Manzanillo, Mexico.
I just remembered another interesting fact about the connecting flight to Phoenix where my pocket knife was safeguarded by the pilot and returned to me when we landed, also a rather unconventional breach of procedures.
But these things do happen. I was thrilled to be up front. It was a 737 America West chartered flight. It was one hell of a view up front, I can tell you that! Maybe it was different because it was International and it was a chartered flight? IDK?
But, for sure I felt privileged to be in the cabin!
Good hunting. El Bee
edit: PS I wasn't the only one. There were a few others that sat up front for part of the flight, and I left my seat to give others a chance. That's reason enough to want to be a pilot, the view is incredible! [ April 21, 2024, 12:38 PM: Message edited by: Leonard ]
