Nick, when I had .223AR, used Black Hills 55gr factory SP, then reloaded 65gr Gamekings, for a 1:8 twist. Boring, but lethal...

Thing about runnin an AR is you're constrained by magazine length, so be mindful of that when considering heavy bullets, especially if they're VLD style. By the time ya get a VLD type squeezed down deep enough to fit and cycle, you really eat up capacity. Just not a harmonious pairing...

Got it Fred. Now I remember why the guys liked to single load fire at the long range rifle matches.

I have a quantity of Federal GM223M ammo left. It's not a game bullet obviously, but it still a hollow point. Would you consider this bullet effective enough? I am curious...

Think that's a 69SMK, should work OK on a coyote?
Only one way to find out!

I've got some of the tipped version (69TMK) loaded to try in my wildcat, and wouldn't have bothered if I didn't hold some optimism about em. But, the proof is always in the puddin!

Sierra Match King indeed. I may save them for when I get the 1/8 twist Windham. The R-15 has a 1/9 barrel.

You're good2go with a 9.

Box of 69SMKs is labeled "7-10 twist barrels only". And my bud shoots FGMM outta his 1:9 Varminter, but he don't hunt nuthin' but chucks with it...
