Moe, are you saying that you actually got in a physical rolling in the dirt combat with your wife's doctor? And won? Nobody went to jail?

In any case, you agree that Kaiser Permanente is a decent provider and a good choice compared to what else is out there, right? In some respects, it reminds me of the military, but all in all, I wouldn't know where to turn for a higher level of care? Some things are just difficult to treat, and this seems to be one of them?

And as far as my problems, they are minor compared to what Paul has on his plate.

Moe if my wife had not been around to be my most aggressive and passionate advocate I don't know where I might be or what might be left of me. Though I had good care and qualified surgeon's you need a pit crew !

Hmm? Something I don't have? I had to insist on driving myself home because I have no support staff. I'm not sure it had ever been done before? I not only didn't get the wheelchair dismissal, I walked out carrying two bags of gear, out to the parking lot where I had left my truck. Somebody mentioned Uber and I questioned what I would do? Call Uber two minutes later to go back and get my truck. I just said, Fuck this.

Well, I had a consultation this morning. The recomendation is surgery. I have an appointment with the surgeon on the 16th. I'll probably do it, nothing else seems to be helping?

Where's your son at Leonard, did he move out of state? You have friends in the area and this includes yours truly. I work in Ontario you know how to contact me if you need anything. My hero, my older brother Ben died from cancer of the esophagus. He died at the Kaiser location in Ontario. It will be three years this November 1. God how I miss him. Rick

Yes, that's the hospital I was in last week, (Ontario) but for the surgery, I need to go to the Fontana hospital. I've also been in the Baldwin Park facility. They have specialists at the various hospitals.

edit: yes, Lenny has been in Colorado for a coupe years now. That's where Aaron is also. Fountain.

Condolences on your brother in law.

Hopefully, your medical situation is not too serious.

The thing is, the surgery is offered as a solution to constant pain, which is a pretty good incentive. I'm pondering the situation and although I'm a big chicken when these things present themselves, I think I will probably go ahead with it.

But, I don't take it lightly. Call me paranoia boy, but my mother died on the operating table when they judged the procedure to be less than a 3% risk. Just saying'

I wish you the best Leonard. You do what you feel is right for you.

My mom is in constant back pain. Morphine pump quit working recently that's a whole other story.

Were trying to figure out what's best ?

When it quit working she went thru the withdraw situation.

You have to pick & choose your battles, I 'spose.
