Got my 2012 mule deer buck all cleaned up and mounted on a stand. My beetles did a great job of cleaning him up. I did all the work myself except cutting out the wood stand. I did do all the finish and assembly work on the stand though. I'm happy with how it all came together. Not everyone likes skull mounts but I think they are pretty cool. Thought some of the rest of you might enjoy seeing the final product.

Me too. And, that's a very nice rack, Amigo.
To save on taxidermy and air freight charges, I had several of my African items done with the European skull mount. Especially since they don't use light weight fibreglass over there...at least mine didn't? My black wildebeest feels like it is filled with cement.
Good hunting. El Bee

Very cool! That base shape and finish really compliments the skull.

I am liking the skull mounts more all the time. That is a great rack on any kind of mount. Kudos to you.

Yeah, nice work, but it reminds me of my boot puller offer?

Cool!!!!!
I don't remember where I saw them but somewhere I ran into some skull mounts that the antlers were polished and the skull was done in either bronze or something that looked like pewter. It gave it a `different` look.
