I don't think we will ever correct the atrocities that have been committed against our personal freedoms and rights. We will sure as hell NEVER get them back.

For those on this board who wonder where the attitude of anti-LE comes from.....well.....pay attention, it's all around us. LE gone wild

It's freaking insane, and your right we will never get it back.

Whats more insane is they are wanting ways to better catch people so they can lock them up then they are starting programs to release prisoners because of over crowding.

Realesing prisoners.

quote:
In Kentucky, where the inmate population had been soaring, even some murderers and other violent offenders are benefiting from a temporary cost-saving program that has granted early release to nearly 2,000 inmates.

quote:
Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine is proposing early release of about 1,000 inmates. New York Gov. David Paterson wants early release for 1,600 inmates as well as an overhaul of the so-called Rockefeller Drug Laws that impose lengthy mandatory sentences on many nonviolent drug offenders.
quote:
"These laws have neither curbed drug use nor enhanced public safety," "Instead, they have ruined thousands of lives and annually wasted millions of tax dollars in prison costs."

quote:
U.S. Supreme court has upheld an order for California to release 38,000 to 46,000 prisoners from its overcrowded jails.
Also to help curb prison over crowding the police have adopted using Swat teams for arrest and search warrants. By shooting and killing suspects it has saved space in jails/prisons and frees up court cost.

So, you are faulting them just for trying a new approach? Gotta give them points for innovation, right? The sooner they eliminate golf clubs and crutches, and anything else that could be "aimed" at the entry team just trying to serve a search warrant, the safer our Boys in Blue will be. They are more equal than those turds and they need all the protection we can give them. I'm for doubling SWAT teams so they can bust multiple doors simultaneously.

Yea, THO, one of the biggest things, in my mind, was that 4 bystanders were hit in that Miami shooting. Total carelessness. That's one of the biggest parts of the story. And in the original article I read, they seemed to mention it in passing, like it was to be expected.
