As most of you know by now, after years of frustration, our beloved Krusty has wacked his first coyote.

Trophies like this don't come along often, and if there's any critter Krusty should ever hang on the wall or stand in the corner, it's this one.

So... I'm announcing "The Krusty Taxidermy Fund," to help him get the thing embalmed by a proper taxidermist.

I'm donating the first $20.00 to help Krusty pay for his mount, and I challenge all other members of Huntmastersbbs to pitch in and help.

Who's in with me?

I'm thinking directly to Krusty. As he is still in the bush, obviously chasing down Coyote #2, I'm sure he can provide an address when the time comes. [Smile]

What guarantee do we have that he won't spend it on frivolous stuff like food and shelter?

Okay I'm on a fixed income, but I can prolly donate a few bucks for such a worthy cause.

Good hunting. LB

Hell, Leonard, I'm on a fixed income, too. I can only spend as much as the federal government pays me. Pretty much like you old farts. [Wink]

I thought that Krusty killed that coyote by accident. Hit it with his bicycle, that was the rumor. [Wink]

I can donate to this cause. Krusty may want to put up this hide himself to make it all the more meaningful. Either way it should be a trophy to enjoy for a lifetime.

Can't you just see Krusty at age 70, retelling the saga to a bunch of kids, on how he got his first coyote.

Krusty looks a little pale in the photo, but I'm pretty sure it is authentic alright. [Wink]

I've thought about this and have come to the conclusion that since I rarely donate to any cause, my wife usually takes care of that, I could kick in on this one. Can't think of a better cause!
Can't wait to hear the story from Krusty! Hope he got pictures, might be some doubters in the crowd! [Eek!]

I don't know what to say, you guys are alright. [Smile]

If there is any question as to "where the money goes", I'd be glad to let a second party hold the funds and forward them directly to the taxidermy shop.

I chose a sitting mount for my coyote, so he might be useful as a calling decoy.

After all the chances I have had to lie, I'd hope nobody would call into question the validity of my claim.
If they do, I have photos (as soon as my film is done). But they are no proof, as seen in the de-faced photo, above. [Wink]

The story isn't much to tell, despite the amount of time it took me to finally succeed, and will wait until the photos come back.

Thanks again, for your generosity, friendship, and support.
Without which, I NEVER would have reached my goal.

I feel kind of weird, having been made into a charity case, and then left to go around hat in hand, collecting.

But I signed on the dotted line, so I need to get it taken care of.

I'll send out a mass e-mail to those of you who have pledged to help, with my address.

Just like actually killing my first coyote, I couldn't have had it stuffed without all of you helping me.

Thanks again,

Krusty -

P.S. I'll be contacting a few of you regarding other deals, calls, beaver pelts, etc. as well.
