I read a piece about his wife and she seems to have those negative vibes, like Melania, or Greta Garbo; “I vant to be alone!” One friend in law school actually called her a sociopath, or speculated that she was one. Besides that she is Indian, at least her parents are from India, I don’t know if she was born here? Anyway, that could be a negative for a lot of people. Then there is JD. First, he looks overweight and (I apoligize, ko ko) but there are people not in love with the hirsute appearance. You know, the usual: what are you hiding. Etc. I admit, It is more acceptable these days, but it’s not a clean cut image. Anyway, in my view, there are a few negatives that those two will have to overcome, and then Trump is mouthing off that he sees a way clear to run for a 3rd term. One of which has him running for VP and as soon as he/they are elected, Vance would resign, making Trump the president by assension. Interesting speculations abound. He would also be the receipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, which is forever cheapened by Obama, who did nothing to earn it? Good hunting. Gavin has a Gordon Gheko image that is very tempting to exploit. I think I have the name wrong but I mean the Michael Douglas character in some wall street movie that I never saw/watched. Anyway, it’s hard to be sure of the lineup for 2028? Good hunting. Most of the Old Guard has stayed in power far to long and is far too old. The young ones have the taint of Socialism / Communism on them that's not going to appeal to Joe Six Pack. How about Fetterman ??? He seems to be the sanest of the whole bunch. Cindy says 'Hi' back at ya. Fetterman is quite a pleasant surprise! I never expected some of the positions from him. Unbelievable! A Democrat with reasonable opinions, at least from a conservative point of view. Mine. Common sense goes a long ways with the bib-overall crowd. Okay, Fetterman is a maverick, but once a fucking Democrat, always a fucking Democrat. Besides, these modern Democrats are (not even) closet Socialists. We have to stop picking candidates with gimmicks, like movie star or sports hero. I don’t know the answers, obviously. Even De Santis and Rubio. Who can forget Rubio melting down and repeating a question/statement like a robot, with deer in the headlights expression. One thing is that Trump has lost a bit of shine. I don’t know if he can get away with gunning drug runners, even if they deserve it. On that note: I’m sorry but I just do not understand addictions, drugs or alcohol. I don’t know about cigarettes, I smoked for 20 something years. The military. Everybody thinks they can’t quit, but everybody can quit. Addictions is a hard thing to conquer. I’ve never taken any drugs, that one is the easiest to solve, in my opinion. It’s a fucking shame that more than half the country takes illegal drugs. I don’t even know how they can afford it? And you are one pill away from dying of Fentenal. Why would anyone risk it? It’s like Russian Roulette. Anyway, who has a candidate? Good hunting. She lives in San Raffael, just north of San Francisco. So she has to get back because she only paid the pet sitter for 3 days, $100 per day, 2 feeding visits each day for her Siamese cat. It was the cheapest she could find. I don’t know about you but that seems like outrageous prices to feed a stinking cat! Yes, it’s a beautiful cat but a hundred buck? Anyway, it’s a brutal 8 hour drive up I-5 with very heavy traffic regardless if you leave today or the weekend, always heavy on these holidays. Nanc and I used to fly it, it’s a 55 minute flight to Oakland, but still drove prob. half the time. Flying these days is a lot more complicated, you have to get some preferred boarding and there is a security classification. Gotta jump through some hoops, I haven’t done it but she does. Peaceful. Then some asswipe invented LED headlights. I once hired a 'pet sitter / dog walker when I lived up in Olympia. Don't remember the details but the price was reasonable & she even took care of my indoor plants while I was gone. She had a side hustle; Up there geese are an infestation that crap all over the docks. She arranged to walk the dogs around the H.O.A.s docks to run the geese off for a small fee. They just flew over to the next lake, ........ where she had an arrangement to walk the dogs & run the geese off, for a small fee. I'm thinking that to be a pet sitter in Calif. must involve permits, licenses, insurance, probably a high dollar bond and possibly a letter of recommendation signed by a High Priest of something. $$$$$$ before you can even have business cards printed. -------------------- And lo, the Light of the Trump shown upon the Darkness and the Darkness could not comprehend it.
