Amen!!!! These people in uniform, not all of them of course, but the ones that have been brainwashed should be cort marshelled or relieved from duty. A well written opinion there Leonard.

Yes, thanks Walt. You know, I served myself, through two of the most serious episodes in the 20th century, The Berlin crisis and the Cuban Missile Crisis. People nowadays have no recollection of those events, but they were digging bomb shelters in their back yards, and so far as I know, I’m still not allowed to talk about what I did in 1962.
Anyway, we have Liberals to thank for the state of the country. They have no concept of the threats and the whole attitude of the University culture is rotten to the core. These people have infected the military and it is unacceptable. That’s as plain as I can make it.

I was going to school on the Vandenberg SAC base in Lompoc Cal. during the Cuban deal and it was truly a scary situation for sure.Very close to launching all those missiles there on the base. One time I didn't want to watch any launches, the base was on high alert and I remember thinking that those take cover drills we were subject to on a regular basis wouldn't work worth a damn if one of those Russian missiles were to hit the base. BUT we survived and lived to enjoy another day.

Most missiles are targeted for major cities as most know that's where you do most damage and don't pay to target missile bases as most missiles won't be there anyway if shit hits the fan. Most don't want a nuclear war as the nukes destroy everything in its path, be nothing to take over if it happens.

also if i may add, if a LCF is destroyed the nukes can still be deployed from one of our airplanes set up for it, like c-130..

What about those Boomers hiding deep in oceans surrounding Russia? Just a guess, but I think any nuclear exchanges will be launched from submarines. Meanwhile, all the land based sites have been plotted and programmed for about 60 years, nothing’s changed. So, that’s where it’s at, nuclear submarines targeting military bases and national capitals. Ever hear of Cheyenne Mountain?

Most of the missiles have been pulled from the ground and put in storage but still some around. I think N.D. and S.D. are missile free so be a good place to move to if you worried about nuclear fallout. I think they turned one of the LCF and one missile silo into a museum of some sort. Yeah you right we have plenty of sub.s for that and also why Trump wants to buy Greenland, owning would be cheaper than renting and thus build a couple of sub pens.
As for Cheyanne &^%$&^%$# they are monitoring this site right now, keep a low profile, they are watching.
Did you know some prisons are privately owned and why trump also wants to send the real bad guys to that big prison south of the border. Its cheaper for the U.S. to pay to have them there Vrs. private prisons we have here. More gang bang for the buck. Hey! peep is the word!! [ April 17, 2025, 07:15 PM: Message edited by: TA17Rem ]

Something to think about, while Putin mouths off about his 6,000 nukes. Everybody says that Russia is strapped for cash, and you start to think about the maintenance required, and it’s not being done. So, what happens to an atom bomb when it’s overdue for maintenance? Is it unstable? Or, will it just be unreliable, or it won’t explode when given the signal?
You know, of course, that the United States is PAYING FOR ALL OF THOSE DECOMMISSIONED NUCLEAR CORES THAT ARE STORED IN EXTREME NORTHERN RUSSIA-FOR 100 YEARS!
edit: Google it if you don’t believe me!
Fucking Russia is so irresponsible that they pull the reactors from the decommissioned subs and do not deactivate them, they are discarded like how we throw plastic bags in the street/according to Liberals. So, our government stepped up and has agreed to monitor these cores, (each one) for a hundred years, and Russia apparently has no shame about the US cleaning up after them! So, you just know that those 6,000 nukes need maintenance of some kind. They were probably built in the 1960’s, so do the math! Putin his a TIME BOMB sitting on his doorstep!

Most of maintenance needed for a nuke is done on the rocket itself, warheads need very little if any they just sit there waiting for someone to set them off. much like your overstocked powder cabinet. We had a nuke agreement years back, Russia pulled so many of their missiles and we did same why we don't have any in the Dakotas. Don't worry about them though you won't feel a thing when one goes off.

It’s not me, I’m concerned about.
It’s the Canadian Harp Seals and the Sacramento Delta Smelt! And, the Gray wolf in Yellowstone, and the short nose bats in China!
And the yellow tree frog in the Amazon, and the Bristlecone Pine in the White mountains, and the spotted owl in Northern California.
And the Great white shark breeding in SoCal coastal waters. And, the Loggerhead sea turtles in New Guinea.
Plus, the Caman population in Bolivia is seriously threatened. Frigate birds are losing their nesting sites due to naval bombardment.
I’m losing sleep over all the suffering critters on this planet!

I believe the next war will be a cyber war. The Chinese can turn our lights off anytime they want. Plus the 25,000 military aged males that crossed Biden's border (or lack thereof) are just waiting for Beijing's activation orders.

Yeah thats bad about some of the wildlife we still need them in the echo system. Problem is white man destroys everything they touch or see, just ignorance in plane site.. and some just don't get it. You claimed that when you lived in Minnesota we had too many skeeters, well thanks to a nice balance in our echo system here we actually don't have that many. I can't even remember last time i was bit by one. Plenty of dragoon flies to keep them skeeters under control. Some cities being overrun by deer, antelope or elk which not normal. Why? simple they are out of balance and not much there to keep them in balance. Oh sure we have the big hunters, many not smart enough to even button their own shirt so they cry because they think they should automatically be able to fill their tag. Then they think stock piling wildlife is the answer. Gates get locked with just small limit of hunters allowed if any, some too lazy get out of a pick-up and actually walk one up. Herds move from a huntable area to area with less pressure and multiply. Like it or not wolves are the answer to keep those big game populations in check, like it or not.

Then keep the wolves in the city where they can control the populations of urban deer, elk, & homeless illegal migrants. They've destroyed enough game in hunting areas.

............ And here's a like it or not quote from John C. Locke, Frenchtown Mont. American Hunter magazine, April 2025 Page 60.
" ........... I hunt and trap wolves, because they have destroyed our moose, elk, and deer populations over the last 20 years, and I live among them. "

Thats piss poor excuse Koko, go look at state population stats they have there for a reason. more game around that what some may lead you to believe. Im not going to go get the numbers for you just use your Google feature.
Not sure why AZ would have a wolf problem. LOL [ April 19, 2025, 02:29 PM: Message edited by: TA17Rem ]

...... State population stats ????
There are lies, Damn lies, and, Statistics.
Why does Az. have a problem with wolves ??? Declining big game numbers. Shorter seasons. Formerly over the counter tags that are now Draw. (Points required) Increased hunter effectiveness due to technology. Loss of hunting areas due to development.
And then some dumb-assed biologists saw the wolves as an employment opportunity and caved in to the anti-hunters and reintroduced something no one wanted.

how many wolves does AZ. have in the state. As for antelope i thought it was coyotes and bobcats causing problems and the weather. Not many north American big game animals can live in a dust bowl.

Mister Charm; you need to lighten up a notch. When you piss off ko ko, (almost impossible) that should tell a perceptive man that he should try another angle. Further, you have managed to get under my skin, a time or two, and that’s never good. Dig?
