I had a diesel once. Repair shops and stations are hard to find, repairs are very expensive. There are things you need to do, that you don't need to do, with a gas engine.

One of the major selling points, cheap fuel, is a wash, these days. The selling point, 100,000 mile engines, has been reached by gasoline engines. Torque? Horsepower? Those too, are within reach of modern gasoline engines.

In short, take your pick. One size does NOT fit all. You like a diesel, buy a Diesel. By the way, I think the word should be capitalized, since it is a man's name?

Good hunting. LB
