A heads up here for anyone considering one of these systems for their 4 wheeler . I ordered a system from both Benz silent rider , and Stealth exhaust. they both arrived , and one after another i installed the systems and gave them a test . The stealth exhaust system was heads above the benz system for sound reduction . the Benz system is simply a straight thru mini cherry bomb type muffler .it is quieter at idle , but when the throttle is applied , the sound goes right thru it . it did very little to quiet my polaris 400 . the stealth exhaust is a true muffler system . not straight thru . it is so much quieter then the Benz its unreal . It is a little more money , but believe me its worth the diffrence in price . The Benz just attatches right to the exisiting muffler and it was quick , the stealth exhaust took a little more time to install , but it sits much higher , and is mounted much more securely then the Benz. The stealth system comes with a turn down pipe that dirrects the sound to the ground , its a flex pipe so if it hits sompthing it will not be damaged . after i installed this it was even quieter . my neighbor came over and asked why he could see me coming down the road but didnt hear the machine running!!!! about all you hear is the engine internal noise and the tires rolling , its really weird. I noticed no power loss , at low or high speeds. Im sure this system is going to be a great asset for sneaking around the ranches that i hunt . this is going to be as good as a horse without the butt ache LOL. ill keep reporting on my sucess with this sytem after i get out and field test it .The STEALTH exhaust is heads above the Benz, spend a little more , and dont look back . the diffrence in price is only 50.00 hope this helps any of you considering a system like this .here is a link to stealth exhaust /www.atvstealthexhaust.com/ Jerry

I'm interested in what you think of the system now.

This is exactly what I've been looking for. My Honda is really noisy. How do you like it after the field test?

I've had one on my Honda 400 for a couple of years now. When I eventually get a new ATV, first thing I'll do to it is put another one of these exhausts on it.

Thanks. I am strongly considering getting one for my Kodiak 450. At least by next deer season.

Jerry, I'm not having any luck using the www.atvstealthexhaust.com url to find info on that noise reduction system. The link goes directly to Kolpin's website, but there's no reference/mention of that exhaust kit. What am I doing wrong?

Dennis
