Hmmm. Might try northwest of Sierra Blanca, along the tracks. Van Allen? Been a while, though? Access can be a problem. Good luck. LB

Sounds good to me, but remember, that's a 900 mile drive, for me, I don't get over that way very often. Hopefully, somebody closer to the action has some current info?
What I did hear was there is a LOT of sign around Wichita Falls. My brother-in-law came through there over the holidays; road kills everywhere!
Good hunting. LB

Terry, you were in my old stomping and calling grounds. I was in law enforcement in Van Horn Alpine and Ft Stockton. That's where I learned the art by hanging around some of the best govt. hunters and callers. Glad to hear they are still plentiful out that way. Fixing to make a trip out to Alpine in the next couple of weeks.

220,You may not think the population is high.If I compare your area to my state then you are infested with coyotes.

Out in in that part of the world Terry, coyotes are the only HIGH population. Sure not many folks live out that way. Pretty easy calling in most areas. Most yotes have never heard a call little alone seen a human. The big country N/E of Van Horn was the largest concentration of dogs. I'm sure it still is.

terry hunt. how far north are you in Tn? seems like we hear quite a few about nighttime near bucksnort. Bw careful night hunting in Tn. is illegal but if you are shooting coyotes I WONT tell.Dont worry about depleting them when they drop all the bombs in everybodys arsenal there will be two things left Coyotes and cocroaches kill them all then one more jess
