Hey Amigo!

Thank you for. the thoughtful gesture. I appreciate it very much. These are like miniature time capsules. And you notice how the ads have evolved. that’s interesting all by itself. As a kid, I used to read publications standing up at the news counter. Argosey faded away when I wasn’t paying attention. Wonder why? My point of reference would be the early to mid 1950’s. Another one was (I think?) TRUE, a little more adult content. You know, with ads for whisky and outboard motors. It’s amazing how the culture evolves, slowly as we live it, but in looking back through this time capsule, you see an almost complete changing of the guard.

It’s wonderful and sad all at the same time. Here we are with a fucking smart phone that recognizes my face, to turn on! Did we really need that? What kind of changes to the world will we see? I suspect it will result in losing some undefinable concepts forever and regrettable as no one will even pay it any attention. Just part of us will be just gone, not a tear will be shed and Google will control our unconscious brain. The future will be unrecognizable.

It will be sterile. stark and unromantic. Can’t wait to find out what new and exciting features will be available in the new iphone 99! I bet there will be an Ap to schedule the best time to poop. As long as they keep the price below $5,000, to make it easily affordable for most people.

TO A BRAVE NEW WORLD!

Yeah ............. Those old magazines come from a time that we can never go back to.
In some ways, that's good, in other ways, not so much.

Edit 2 add; For those confused, I scored on a stack of old & really old Sports Afield, True & Argosy magazines a while back. Every now & then I send El Bee a few to keep him out of the Bingo Parlors.

I’m high and low, just had a low, and this is the first time I’ve been alone. Corey went to Fontana to pick up nebulizer liquid, since they are on back order here in Ontario. Meanwhile, I’m just getting by. I had a rough patch and then I took a swig of Robitussin and an anti mucus pill. I guess it helped because I can at least sit back in my recliner. Also, I can take a deep breath without sharp pain, just a litttle unpleasant tightness.

Supposed to be 99 * today. Might have to run the air.

I did a repair job. A place under the door where my oxygen tube is always hanging up. I used box packing tape. A loop in the air tubing would snag and rip the gadget out or off my nose. Pain in the ass, but I think I fixed it quick and dirty.

I will say this much. I hope to God this situation gets better or I ain’t long for the world. It’s a good thing that I have family doing things for me. I’d be lost without somebody setting up my meds, ordering more and making sure I take various stuff when due. I’m too befuddled to plan this shit myself. Hell, I keep asking what day it is?

Only 99* ????
It's 103* out on my patio right now. Summers in Scenic Safford ain't for sissies.
The Monsoon Storms, though ............ The crashing lightening & the thunder that follows. Shakes the very soul. Awesome is an insufficient word to describe it.

You getting good rain up that way koko? Spotty as hell down here. The usual story, big storms all around us, but haven't had a good downpour in a few weeks.....we need some bad, awful dry at my place.
Sounds like you're getting around a bit better Leonard? Hope that's the case, and your health continues to improve, keep moving.

Thanks for the words, Victor. I appreciate it.

Fact is, I’m fighting for every breath. It’s hard to believe they released me from the hospital? I also find it hard to believe that there isn’t something to help? I watch people reacting when I say what I’m up against. The look on the face is incomprehension, blank; when do you mean, you can’t breathe? It’s an unconscience action, everybody breathes, you don’t even have to think about it…..right? Well, whatever it is that I have, it takes deliberate effort to keep breathing. And I know how hard it is to understand what I endure.. Sounds dramatic, I know. It’s hard, believe me.

But they say I’ll get better? Can’t wait.

We seem to be a rain repellant around here. Got a good 5/8" the other evening and tonight lightening & thunder on three sides of us but no rain.

El Bee ....... Yes, when I had my heart attack it was a conscious effort to remember to inhale. Totally weird & hard to describe.

How about a breathalater or what ever its called. small can with mouth piece and you just hold it to your mouth and push down and take deep breath to help open the airways with what ever is inside.
I used one for very short time and was cats ass for opening up your airway so you can breath easier.

Yeah, I have that, Tim. At least I think I know what you are talking about.
Went to Fontana for pulmanary tests today. I’ve gone down, by the charts from 100% to 60. Maybe I can improve? We will see?

If you going to keep fainting, I suggest getting a bicycle helmet. Bump on head can cause a aneurism/blood clot that can kill you quick.
